To be very honest, it's not a scam.
I sold vacation packages to orlando/daytona with a rental car in return for 60-90 minutes of a persons time to take a tour of our resort in either orlando or daytona.
marketed as a promotion that ends the day we called. It sucked doing it that way but, I mean, if they were to call people back over and over it would waste time when there's other people to get a hold of.
IF YOU WERE CALLED, YOU FILLED OUT A SURVEY ONLINE AND YOU SUBMITTED YOUR:
NAME, ADDRESS, PHONE #, DOB, EMAIL. IT DOES NOT MATTER IF YOU'RE ON A DO NOT CALL LIST, you hit submit on the survey and agreed to allow us to call you back.
Now, here's the major problem I had with people, and to be honest, you're completely retarded if you do this. THIS IS A FACT.
DO NOT PICK UP AND HANG UP IMMEDIATELY - WHERE DOES THAT GET YOU? THINK ABOUT IT.
TELL THEM, HEY __NAME__ PLEASE PUT ME ON THE DO NOT CALL LIST. THANK YOU.
Let them verify your number, and then hang up.
THAT WAY YOU DON'T HAVE TO WASTE TIME PICKING UP AND HANGING UP. Now You're Smarter.
NOW, IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR A VACATION TO FLORIDA FOR REALLY LOW PRICE.
and you CAN SAY NO to someone when they're trying to sell you a time share, then go on the vacation. It's not a scam and you do have a good time. There's plenty of families that go every year.
Now like I said, I used to work for them. I didn't like the way they did things but they were legitimate. You can't accept CC's over the phone if you're not. WESTERN UNION is used for scams. GET EDUCATED.

I said I was at work and would need to discuss with my family. The rep said is it that you cant afford this? I said no I need to talk to my family and I am at work right now. He puts me on a hold, a manager comes on and says if the only reason I am not purchasing this right now with my credit card is to check with my family, then they will call me back before 6pm when the promotion ends. I immediately went to the Better Business Bureau website and this company has had 172 complaints in the last 3 years and 97 in the last year and are not in good standing with the BBB! I want to thank the other consumers who by sharing their stories have saved me a big headache and 149.00. Thanks from MN

You have to book (at which time they will charge you more for "taxes") get your rental car (be charged more taxes) then go to their place, get a voucher, go back to your hotel (be charged MORE taxes), check in (be placed on the 13th floor of a run down hotel with a good name, that smells like sewage), then deal with a pushy sales person, tour the property, turn them down, & then have some mafia looking guy try to force you into buying. Then you will get 2 tickets not 4 as promised and pay yet MORE tickets!
It is not worth anything! It is stressful.
