My warranty on a Kodak 4. megapixel L733 Easy Share was about to expire in apx. a week when I discovered that the lens would not extract. I called Kodak, was given a number with instructions to utilize in sending the camera for repair. It came back working, however, within two months the same problem happened again.

This time they said their warranty was only for one month (although there was no mention of this before I sent it previously). When I complained of the lack of quality repair, he asked "how long would you want the wararranty to be for"? I told him a year, because that is what the originial warranty was for. He then gave me a number and said to send it back and they'd see what they could do.

Well, surprise! RIP-OFF! They offered to repair it for a fee, or trade it in for a less megapixel size, and for 2/3 of the cost of the original. This camera is one year and 3 months old, cost almost $400, and as far as I'm concerned, it is a piece of JUNK! If not, then the company is! Why would I pay them to do a repair that breaks right away? I DIDN'T. DON'T BUY FROM KODAK!
