Did You Read What You Bought Into?

about PRIOR to making a ridiculous online complaint.
The Federal Trade Commission even published a handbook to help prevent consumers like yourself. Crazily enough, it's titled, "How to be an Informed Consumer"! Page 14, under the section of Major Purchases and Investments-Buying A Car:
"Considering a Service Contract-
A service contract that you may buy with a new car provides for the repair of certain parts or problems. This type of contract is offered by manufacturers, dealers, or independent companies and may or may not provide coverage beyond the
manufacturers warranty. A warranty is included in the price of the car while a service contract costs extra.
Before deciding to purchase a service contract, read it carefully to get the answers to
these questions.
Whats the difference between the coverage under the warranty and the coverage under the service contract?
What repairs are covered?
Is routine maintenance covered?
Who pays for the labor and parts?
Who performs the repairs? Can repairs be made elsewhere?
How long does the service contract last?
What are the cancellation and refund
policies?"
Brake pad wear is considered normal wear and tear. Brake pads are MADE to wear down. As well, a brake caliper sticking is considered normal wear and tear as well. Your logic is false. All four corners do NOT necessarily wear evenly. Generally, one axle provides more braking power than the other...not really 50/50. Go to www.ehow.com or www.howthingswork.com and research the braking system yourself.
It's sad how many ignorant consumers incorrectly blame someone else for their own wrong doings.

Why you can't sue

And that is exactly how these scam companies avoid prosecution.
They pay for a few repairs every month and avoid everything they can legally figure a way around. Proving they are not "Fraudulent" in the eyes of the law.
