If Eaton finds out who I am am, they will, without a doubt, drop my purchasing privleges. they have no concern for thier "other" customers. Just ask them, they kicked out 80-90% of thier customers in the last two years

Customer service is completely lacking!

For years Eaton let Randy's ring and Pinion buy most of the inventory coming through thier warehouse, leaving the rest of the customers to purchase from Randy's to stock thier shelves. If that wasn't bad enough, Eaton would then threaten to revoke purchasing privaleges due to lack of purchasing volume. We have had to wait for up to six months to have our orders filled. I know that Randy's never had to wait! Eaton had someone on the inside leaking info on production and warehouse levels to Randy's so Randy's could buy out the whole production run, leaving scraps for the rest of the customers.

Randy's had an illegal(?) monopoly on the product and artificially drove the market price down to the point where no other company in the United States can sell for less without losing money.

For the business people out there, in order to compete we have to sell at less than 15% gross profit margin, that gets gobbled up by "shelf space" value real quick. We have to pay freight on these pieces that weigh 50-70 lbs each. We have to do our own advertising. We have to provide tech support to our customers. Where/how are we making money selling thier product?

Randy's Ring and Pinion started to make thier own lockers, allegedly voiding thier "no compete" contract with Eaton. Randy's is still selling the Eaton/Detroit brands on thier website!

Is Randy's still getting product from Eaton?

Does Randy's have so much product that they can sell for less affecting the market for years to come?

How long before Eaton decides to "forgive and forget" Randy's and start officially selling to them again?

And yet, every quarter we get the threated by Eaton that our costs are going to go up or that they will drop us entirely if we don't purchase more!

Eaton claims to have a "freight prepaid" system for orders over $10,000, but that is only for Eaton legacy products not the Detroit series! Eaton doesn't make a locker for the Ford 9" differentail, Detroit does. THE most known performance differential in the world and we have to pay freight no matter what dollar amount we purchase. And then they take 10-15 days longer to ship the orders than any other vendor we purchase from..Including Randy's Ring and Pinion who have a $1500 "freight prepaid" at 3-4 days out.

So basically we can get it from Randy's (our competition) in less time for about the same price and less freight charges than we can direct from Eaton, where is the fair practice in that?

Go back to school, study customer service, there are school kids working at the Golden Arches Supper Club that do better than Eaton.
