I purchaced one of ATV discounters 100cc atvs from ebay. I contacted the phone number listed on the auction listing to get the costs of shipping. "Doug" the sales person is the one that answers the number lsited on the page. He gets in touch with "Sherri" who just tells you what ever she wants and then goes on doing whatever she wants while your money is in their account.

The auction listing boasts "We ship within 72 hours!" Well folks, don't belive it.

The first week that I waited, I was patient. I finally sent an email asking if the shipping company was going to contact me prior to the 4-wheeler being delviered. Glen Barling, the self proffessed "customer service man" (see the employeediscounter.com) says I'll forward this to the "shipping department" which is Sheri Barling.

Sheri replies "It will ship Tuesday!" Which isn;t even close to an answer to what I had asked her.

The next day, I ask the same question - will the delivery driver contact me before attempting delviery, so I can be home from work? Glen Barling replies, "If it hasn't shipped yet, we'll give ya a refund."

That's not what I said! REad you emails! These people are ridiculous and should be shot for what they are doing to hopefull children.

They don't read their emails, have all of their phones forwarded to "Doug" the sales guy who isn't capable of handling anything to do with the ebay sales, becuase that's "Sherri's" department.

They give you the run around, for days. My daughter's birthday party will be a bummer, because in the end I discovered that they did ship my 4-wheeler, a day late, to Wisconsin! I live in Louisiana.

I contacted the company, if you want to call it that, to see if I could get one actually sent to the state that I live in. They called me back, left their number, and then turned their phones off! I can't get ahold of Sherri Barling, ho is, solely the shipping department.

She told me "It will ship Tuesday!" Then told me it will be there Thursday, then later it will be theer Friday! Now, I finally pry a tracking number, which Doug said did not exist, from her - what do I figure out? MY 4-WHEELER is on its way to Wisconsin and my daughter's birthday party will have no 4-wheeler.

Sheri says "well print out a picture of it, and giver her that."

Thank you Sheri, the smartest damn thing you've said all day.

What a mindless piece of crap company.

I am yet to see if they plan to turn my fouor wheeler around in Wisconsin and let me sit here another week and half waiting for it, or if they plan to reimburse me - It's a friggin mircale if anyone other than "Doug" their slave phone answering man gets to talk to you.

Please go to employeediscounter.com and read what this man claims to do. Then think about the crap he does to his ebay customers. EVERY TIME someone leaves him negative feedback, he goes in and rips them a new ass on their feedback - DOUG, you can see the time and date stamps. Everyone knows who left the negative first. It doesn't take a genious.

Sherri, don't give tracking numbers out when they clearly show that you sent people's stuff to the wrong friggin state.

ATV Discounters - what a rip off

We ordered 2 atvs over 6 weeks ago; were promised delivery in 14 days; to make a long story short, numberous phone calls and emails to Doug Dahle (sales rep) resulted in always telling us he was waiting on a tracking number. Now every phone number we have for the company says mailbox full; no one will return phone calls or emails.

Pretty sure we have been scammed for $1300 but the worst part is our two disappointed sons ages 7 and 8.

I ordered a moped on EBay from ATVDiscounter, the SC-01 Scooter 2007 150cc Moped Free Shipping $ 898. I received it in fairly good time and everything went well. Less than two months after I start driving it, the rear break assembly pops off while I'm driving it, and get lodged in the rear tire and I almost go @$$ over handlebars. VERY SCARY!

I realize I will probably not get a free part or anything and I'm okay with that but I would at least like to buy a new part. I get a few responses from Rob Groves and than all of a sudden NOTHING. I can't get ahold of him at all. I left a voicemail and got no response. I e-mailed SunL, the maker, and they tell me to contact Rob. I can't get a part for this moped so there is no way I can ride it. I'm going to to talk to my Credit Card company because now I have wasted $900 on a moped that I can't even drive!

I have seen some here saying how they are a rip off. I cannot speek as to what,they did or did not to for or too all of you.

I however had NO trouble with them. I got what I paid for (110cc Buggy) took a little time to put it all together, and set things just right for the kids. (I.E. brakes, seat, gas, idle & seatbelts) other then that it is running good and we love it. I would say you should go over ALL the nuts now & then, however most off-road things you should do that too. I forgot and some things have come loose. also keep in mind that there is brake in oil in most new things that have a gas engine that needs to be changed out after so long. (as there was in this buggy) You should also let the battery charge for a good 12-24 hrs before using it.

Some say they don't take calls. Odd I have got Bruce every time I called (one time after hrs. on a Sunday) And he seems to know just about whatever I ask him about this buggy before I bought it, and I got right through when I needed a new part, things wear out kids.

Over all so far so good, We'll See...

Moments after notifying paypal that they WILL refund the money, when their ATV comes back from Wisconsin, where it was mistakenly sent - They notify ebay that I never paid for it? Ebay owns paypal people. They know when something was paid for, or if it was.

I find it funny that a man, caught on tape yelling that he will travel to my home town and hurt me, as I beg him to calm down and listen to me, thinks that something is wrong with me. I find it even more funny that becuase his shipping company messed up, and his wife lied to me six times that I have to wait even longer to get back the money intended for my daughters birthday party.

They operate a measly little drop ship company with a few family member employees and a line of cheap chinese 4-wheelers and refer to everything as if it were their large business.
My shipping department! Your wife IS your shipping deparment. The drop ship companies do the rest.

Way to go A team. You guys are really upstanding people. Why don't you visit the nursing home and stel jello from old people plates, at least there are no children involved.

As of 7:30 P.m. October 7th , I have talked to the sellers again, who have not refunded the money, I have made several attempts to contact them , which resulted in yelling and screaming on their part, they say the shipping company is at fault. The shipping company says they gave a BOL that was incorrect, providing an adress simliar to one of the customers they recently had, but not mine. They have this money, and refuse blantantly to refund it untill their item comes back from Wisconsin, that has nothing to do with me, they are just tying up the money. Because I am "rude", they will not give me the item, and will not just refund the money either. Ths is a way fr them to hold onto someone elses money, without sending the customer an item. I have several taped phone calls for review in which the seller blantly says "You will get nothing, and will have to file a dispute claim to get your money, good luck. "

Well, after I called, about fourty times trying to get Glen to state that he would refund my money... he says "You know how to do that, you probabbly do it all of the time!" Glen, my feedback shows that I have purchaced 150 items, I don;t buy things much, I purchace. Everyone of them has had great things to say about me.

I paid for the 4-wheeler 7 minutes after purchasing it and have all fo the paypal data.

WHY in your rebuttal do you say "It was shipped on time" but in my negative feedback you say it was a day late. I have the tracking information that shows you placed the order on 10-04-2006. That's not 72 hrs! Get a calculator. That's Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Monday, Tuesday and then shipped on WEdnesday - Then To Wisconsin!

Well, that's good and well I suppose. I have seven taped phone calls where Mr. barling of Barling, Glen & Sheri

tells me that I am worthless, unemployed, need to get a job, need to get a life. All the while he is yelling, screaming, cussing, telling me that if he ever comes to Lafayette he will beat me up, hurt me, make me regret my situation.

These phone calls are available now and will be posted to youtube, linked to several atv websites for the promotional use, and displayed promonantly. His tone of voice was outrageous you could see the veins popping in his neck, even though he was on the phone.

Glen, however, is not to blame. Today, was the first time that I spoke to him.

His wife is the one putting the company in teh ground, while he tries to fix everything by passing out death threats.

THE RUDEST PERSON I HAVE EVER TALKED TO

WE SHIPPED ANTHONY FOSTER'S ATV ON TIME AS WE SAID WE WOULD TO HIS CORRECT ADDRESS AND THE FREIGHT COMPANY SOMEHOW ENTERED IT INCORRECTLY AND IT WAS SHIPPED TO ANOTHER STATE WHICH CAUSED A FEW DAYS DELAY BUT WOULD STILL HAVE BEEN ON TIME FOR THE DAY THAT HE NEEDED IT. HE CALLED US TODAY ON SATURDAY AND MY WIFE WAS TRYING TO HELP HIM AND TOLD HIM THAT WE WOULD CONTACT THE FREIGHT COMPANY ON MONDAY AND TAKE CARE OF THE MISTAKE THEY MADE BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT OPEN ON THE WEEKEND AND HE WAS VERY RUDE AND SHOUTED **** YOU! TO MY WIFE.PREVIOUS TO THIS HE HAD CALLED SEVERAL OF OUR EMPLOYEES YELLING AND MAKING RUDE COMMENTS YESTERDAY ALSO.I SEE THAT HE USED PROFANITY IN HIS REPORT ALSO. WE HAVE NO CONTROL OVER THE FREIGHT COMPANY AND WHEN THEY MAKE MISTAKES WE ARE NOT HAPPY AND WE ALWAYS DO EVERYTHING POSSIBLE TO HELP THE CUSTOMER. IN THIS CASE WE ARE GOING TO CONTACT THE FREIGHT COMPANY ON MONDAY AND HAVE THEM RETURN THE ATV TO US AND WE WILL REFUND HIM IN FULL. AFTER HIS AGRESSIVE ACTIONS WE THINK THIS WOULD BE BEST FOR EVERYONE INVOLVED. WE HAVE COMPLETED OVER 10,000 TRANSACTIONS ON THE INTERNET AND OUR POSITIVE FEEDBACK RATING IS 99.5% ON EBAY SO YOU CAN SEE THAT WE DO IN FACT TAKE CARE OF OUR CUSTOMERS.

The resolution

My daughter's birthday party, a failure. Glen says that I will NEVER get his 4-wheeler, that I will NEVER get my money back, and becuase he knows that I will post his emails, sends me this email.

Well Glen, I have your phone call recorded.

IF anyone wants to here this man, screaming like a baboon, telling me that he will kill me, just let me know and I'll forward you the messages.

Glen calls me yelling , screaming, with DEATH THREATS! he says, let me find out where you live, If I ever come daown their, I'll whip your a** you sorry piece of sh**.

Here is the email I get, moments after he blemishes my ebay account, with a lie.

The freight company shipped the atv to the wrong address ( not our fault ) and we will call them on Monday and have it returned to us. Then you will be refunded your money. You called our office and because of the freight company's mistake you shouted F*** Y*** to my wife who was trying to help you. This is America and we are choosing to not do business with you because of your aggressive actions. You are a very rude person and maybe someday you will learn that are consequences in the world for bad people.

Now Sheri says "I'll tell you Monday"

Sheri Barling is the worlds best at postponing your order, and postponing it, and blaming the shipping compnay RL carriers.

RL carriers states that the 4-wheeler will not be here by next Friday, even if they turn it around.
Sherri says "Oh, well I doubt that - it never takes more than two or three days."

Concerned about nothing more than her shipping costs, sheri Barling has ruint a child's birthday party, has screwed me out of my money, and will continue to lie to my face.

If this is corrected, I will remove this report.

Doug, sorry about pointing you out - You were the one that acted like you had intelligence, the rest of them just didn't give a crap and were off doing other things with the money the custermers were faithfully sending. I have no doubt that it is Glen or Sherri putting the terrible negative feedbacks on everyone's account that has the slightest problem with the company's level of service.

Please, send me my 4-wheeler!
