Seen like the sports memorabilia forgery isn't an American problem but a worldwide epidemic. Ebay seller ID: playoff.honor ( http://myworld.ebay.com/playoff.honor ) has been working the system for 3 years now and is rewarded with a " Top-rated seller" status for his forgery on Ebay. Nobody in their right minds would believe a seller in Taiwan ( also list multiple locations: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, Japan) would be selling us our big star name athletes while this con man is half the world away. Just NOT possible!
Here's the list of the names of the people this con man have forge in the past or have for sale currently on ebay: NFL Tom Brady ( sold over 10 of these), Eli Manning, Peyton Manning, Aaron Rogers, Ben Roethlisberger, Joe Montana, Jerry Rice, Steve Young, Terry Bradshaw, Hines Ward, Mean Joe Greene, Randy Moss, Kurt Warner, Jim Brown, Michael Irvin, Troy Aikman, Emmitt Smith, John Elway, Tim Tebow, Joe Namath, Mark Sanchez, Sam Bradford, Gale Sayers, Tony romo, Bart Starr, Bo Jackson, Barry Sanders, Michael Vick, Adrian Peterson, Roger Staubach, Lawrence Taylor, Drew Brees.
NBA Kobe Bryant, Yao Ming, Scottie Pippen, Hakeem Olajuwon, Chris Paul, Derrick Rose, Dirk Nowitzki, dwight Howard, Kevin Garnett, Dwyane Wade, Magic Johnson, Kareem Abdul Jabbar (Rarely sign on memorabilia but this con sold numerous times!!! RED FLAG WARNING), Jerry West, Oscar Robertson, Shaquille O' Neal, Blake Griffin, Chris Bosh, Tim Duncan, carmelo Anthony, Steve Nash, karl Malone, John Wall, Kevin Durant.
NHL Sidney Crosby, Alexander Ovechkin, Joe Sakic, Bobby Orr, Roberto Luongo, Mark Messier, Patrick Roy, Gordie Howe, Mario Lemieux, Jean Sebastian Giguere.
Tennis Andre Agassi, Venus Williams, Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer, Maria Sharapova.
Soccer David Beckham
MLB None (Baseball is Taiwan's national sport and the seller doesn't have nothing for sale...weird)
This con man have not been under the radar since he's smart to know not to forge Michael Jordan. If he did, Upper Deck Authenticated will have their own fraud team to investigate immediately. Also same for Tiger Woods. Don't mess around with those 2 guys. You asking for trouble if you do.
What we have here is a fella with a prior conviction for forgery and either he live abroad or had someone else open a mail box for him. Something isn't right! Very fishy! Come to think of it. None of the autographs the seller have for sell is authenticated by a third-party authenticator like PSA/DNA, or JSA. On Dec-03-2009 buyer silverfishbone made a purchase of a Maria Sharapova signed 8x10 photo from the seller and had it authenticated and it fail. Buyer red flagged seller thur ebay but somehow it show the seller with 100% still. Go figure!
It's about time to bring this person to face justice and put an end to this scam.
