I was wrong. Ecampus.com/ A Book Company LLC took my books in September with the false promise to pay for them in 4 to 12 weeks. This I thought was very long to just check in books and issue a check but this was the way they did business. A called a couple of times to see the status of my account and it seemed to go well.
When the 12th week came I called to ask if my check had been issued and it wasn't. So I called the next week and next week and still nothing. I kept calling until ( and asking for their manager that was strategically not their when I called threw out the day) one of the customer service people told me that it was issued and has been sent on the 11th of December which then I asked her how long it might take and she told me 4-14 days.
I thought that they would stick to their word and deliver but that was not the case. I called on January 12th saying that I had not gotten the check and the customer service lady told me that " because it is snail mail it will take 30 business days to get sent out and that wont be till the 26th of January" Which I know is a lie because I talked to a post office official and they said two weeks max for it to reach me.
This was unacceptable and I asked again to talk to a manager which the lady then told me that "the manager is not available but I can take your name and number and they will call you back" I did this 3 times and NEVER got a call from anyone. I was angry because they kept telling me facts that were not true, which means they where lying to me this whole time.
I finally called on the 30th of January because I had yet to receive the check. The customer service lady named Jade told me that i was not mailed till the 26th of January and that I will not receive it until next week. I told her that I was told the 11th of December and she told me that "she sees that and that she was sorry but nothing she could do" So I told her I would like to wait for a manager to talk to and that if they where not "available" that I can just wait to talk to them. She presided to tell me that she can not do that and if I stay on the phone she will have to hang up on me. I asked for her name and told her goodbye.
Then at the last hope to help redeem this company I emailed one of the heads of customer service about my problem and that this was not getting resolves and all the people where not helpful. She emailed me back saying,
"Thank you for contacting customer service.
Your check was mailed on 1/23. We must allow 30 business days for delivery.

To me the least she could have done was say sorry for all the inconvenience or offered a solution to the problem but all she said was o well to sad so bad. This is not the way you run a business and not a way to handle customers. If this is the way that they are going to work further in the future with all of their customers I think that they will not be in business for long.
They should also re train their customer service staff because whatever they are doing it is not working. This was a horrible company to work with if you call it working with. I the customer had to do all the work and still got nothing in return.
