I was introduced into eckankar through a family friend in the late 1970s. At first it all seemed alright. I read books and took discourses. Then the shit hit the fan. I saw passages of the books in other writers books, copied almost word for word. Darwin Gross who was the master then was thrown out of eckankar by harold klemp the new master because he caused eckankars non tax status to be threatened by the irs because of an aircraft darwin purchased outside the allowance set by the irs. That is the way I understood what I was told by friends who worked at the eckankar office.

I tried to ignore what I was told and to just continue my studies. Put the blanket over my head. Then paul twichell books were re edited to take out the copied material from other books. Next paul was made to look like a fool and mischievious funny person to downplay the copying. His former wife said he made eckankar up. Then more of paul twichell books were taken away and not published again. I tried to hold on and continue to ignorebwhatvwas happening under my nose.

When I tried to talk to the bosses they told me the paul twitchell stories were fabricated and they tried to take darwin out of eckankar history. I asked them about the irs thing and they became silent and ignored me.

I became to realize that the only people getting high initiations were selling large amounts of eckankar products in vast quantities. The bosses set a quota system and no others got initiations. Old members died some from the early days with only low initations because they wanted to down play the old members so it would not look like they were credible.

I became a nuisance to the boss higher initiates and they made a note in their computer records to not give me any more initiations. I heard that trouble makers who made too much noise were threatened with law suits to shut them up.

I spent thousands to attend seminars, get books and discourses and I got no enlightenment. I was told that I was to blame for this by RESA counselors who put the blame on me and not eckankar.

These people are very crafty and you will only get what you deserve if you jump on their band wagon. I see them as the Borg. One big negative dark collective bringing people in. Reducing them to meek abused subjucated sheep without self power. Fleecing them like vampires of good thoughts and feelings and making them not themselves any more.

It has taken me years to get right again after mixing with eckankar. They have a way of attaching their thing to you and that hounding your peace of mind. The only peace and realization you will get is when you get out completely. Frankly I do not know why they have managed to stay in business so long.
