Ecom 411 rip-off Champlain New York

This organization led me to believe that the company that I represent had a listing with their services and wanted to update our Name and Address for their records, which I supplied for them on the belief that we were in there Business to business listings. Our company was in the process of changing owners, and at the time I had no knowledge of this being one of the venders we would be continuing, I asked for further information to be sent to us.

About a month later we received an invoice for a Service listing of $398.80, and received numerous harassing calls regarding the invoice and payment.

On one occasion the owner of our company even told them that we did not want the services,

After informed that there was no plans to pay the invoice and they were going to be turned into the Better Business Bureau things really go nasty, I then stated to get calls almost daily, insisting that we pay the invoice which at now accrued interest and we were to retract our complaint with the Better Business Bureau, implying that she was in direct contact with a particular person in the Bureau and there would be no action taken on the BBB part.

After researching the organization in the companys records and contacting the previous office worker, I have found no previous invoices indicating that the company had used there services at all, and the tactic of calling and wanting to update their records under the pretence that our company had used the services was a is fraud.

We are a towing company and these types for listing would not be of any service what so ever.

Through out the entire conversations they were contumely being corrected on the information that they had such as, names and the correct spelling of names.

They have web site listed on their invoice heading , which is not able to be contacted, when doing a internet search all that was obtained was a collage.

They have made attempts to collect by stating that they were other companies, but after the conversation starts indicate they are Ecom 411's legal department. ( and they call every day!)
