I answered a magazine advertisement in early December for a home business opportunity. I went to the website and filled out the contact form. I soon received a call from Jason Becker advising that the business package was running on "special" for $2400.00 promising the company does all the marketing for you, sends you emails of results, stating that I will make on average of $3K-$4K dollars/month easily. He also stated that I had to purchase the system immediately to begin making money for the upcoming Christmas holiday season and that I would definitely make at least $7k-$8k in profits if I acted immediately so they could begin marketing the website and begin generating sales.

He also stated that he would be my personal mentor and would walk me through the entire process of making money online and how to do additional marketing as well. I couldn't afford to drop that kind of money up front so he offered the finance plan of $195.00 down and $99/month for 36 months. The finance program (provided by Duvera Financial) stated you had 3 days to cancel. He called and called until I signed the contract and faxed it over. Following that it took 4 days to receive the website that I purchased. He initially told me that the finance plan came with the complete marketing package and everything.

He then scheduled an appointment to "go over the website, control panel, how to use everything, and provide initial training." During the consultation with him to go over the business and webpage he then sent me emails for upgrades he didn't mention would have to be paid in order to provide BASIC features that ANY ECOMMERCE WEBSITE would come with, such as the ability to change pricing, offer sales, offer free shipping, etc. He suggested that I had to purchase BOTH packages to be successful in the business totaling an additional $800.00!! Then he said that I would then get the marketing package, when INITIALLY he told me on the phone that all those things came with the website and the marketing if I purchased the program.

LIES, LIES, LIES!!! He NEVER stated that if I FINANCED the program that the marketing package and other website features would NOT be included. At this point I was absolutely FURIOUS!! When I called him to cancel the contract and ask for a refund of the money he stated you CANNOT cancel that you are locked in!! I could not afford the additional upgrades and he stated "sorry there is nothing you can do with the business at this point until you purchase the upgrades since you will have no ability to market the website or make any sales."

He stated the marketing package would include training on marketing the website, and also marketing efforts by the company to drive traffic to the website and get listed in the search engines to drive sales to the website. On 1/24/2012 I called to purchase the upgrades and marketing package totaling $785.00 since they started charging me $99.00/month plus $24.95/month hosting fees and I didn't want to be at a total loss of the initial investment.

He told that I would immediately begin receiving emails from the marketing department advising of the package purchased and the marketing they would begin doing. I have not received 1 EMAIL from the marketing department advising of anything they are going to be doing or are doing to market the website. I also caught him in another LIE after I asked him about the training program that would accompany the marketing and he stated they don't do ANY TRAINING or provide any assistance to help market the website.

The only suggestion he could make was write an ad and put it on craigslist.com. I mean REALLY?!!! That is the STEP BY STEP mentoring and assistance and help he is offering to help with the business?!! I then called him back to request a REFUND of the $785.00 I spent on the marketing program and system upgrades and he advised there are NO REFUNDS and that all services had been completed when I haven't received 1 email from their marketing department or anything! Then he stated that if I wanted more marketing of the website he would then send more info on additional packages they charge for ranging from $250 - $1500.00!!

I became suspicious and decided to research online whether there were other complaints about this company and have now found NUMEROUS complaints of their business practices, DECEPTIVE marketing, communicating EVERYTHING over the phone and NOTHING in writing. Stating LIE AFTER LIE AFTER LIE. Their only mission is to keep charging for upgrades, DELIVERING NOTHING, and promising you will make sales as as result. This company needs to be SHUT DOWN IMMEDIATELY!!

All I asked was to cancel this WHOLE PROGRAM and get my $785.00 back that I paid for since I now see this whole program is a complete SCAM and RIP OFF!!

I am happy to say that my problem with E-Commerce Exchange has been solved to my satisfactory. I would suggest contacting the company directly to solve any misunderstandings or problems you may have before contacting any other agency. 

They did grant my request and I am no longer obligated to make any payments.

Everyone, E-Commerce has robbed many. We need to come together and expose these people. Please also file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission. E-Commerce Exchange A+ rating with the BBB is paid for not earned. The BBB doesn't actually investigate, they just foward the complaint on to the company. Beware of Jason Becker, this person and company itself is very decietful.
