On Friday the 11th of december 2009, i book a room online for econolodge in Tallahassee florida. when i arived at 12pm on friday i checked in and the internet didn't work, and they didn't have time to reset it. i needed internet because im launching my website this week. so i was sent to the other location. that location only had a smoking room that smelled like wet dog, but the internet worked. monday when i got home i found three charges for $111.84 and one for $62.10 and one for $62.09. when i contacted them to find out what was going on the one i stayed at was professional and friendly and while i was on the phone looked up his billing and made sure it wasn't his location. then i called the secound one and was told that internet is a free service so she doesn't give a dam if it works and shouldn't have been sent to anougher location, she also went on to say this is her day off and i shouldn't have to deal with this crap. and to end the call she told me to call the other location it wasn't her location that charged me. i demanded the corprate number she wouldn't give it to me till i ask four times. when i called the lady was nice and said she would work hard to get this resolved and she said to expect a call to fix the problem within three days. i got an email saying it wasn't us not our problem. i called the 800 number agian and was told its not able to do anything they are independant and they have no control over billing. im out the money and made as hell i wont book again at any choice hotels.
