Wanted to make you aware of a rip off cab driver advertising services on the web and making illegal pick ups at the Orlando International Airport. Ed Korgan is a gypsy driver whom has been dis-missed from the Mears Transportation Group (largest Taxi service in Orlando) for chargin customers off the meter and illegally picking up fares at the airport. Check with the Orlando Airport itself (Do your own verification, don't just rely on this posting) and you will find that this individual has two citations for illegal pickups and mounting. In addition, he mis-advertises fares and attacks customers whom complain. He charged me $90 USD for a ride from the airport to Disney when it should have cost 60 and then said that the city of Orlando regulates that fare. Not having been to Orlando before, I believed him only to run into another couple whom had the same problem.
Ticked off I did some searching around and this guy has a reputation for this stuff. Stay away from www.taxi-mco.com and Ed Korgan , he is a scam artist.

My family of 12 did a June Disney cruise and loved every minute. Our travel agent recommended Ed saying she had many of her clients use him and they all thanked her for the recommendation. We too thanked her.
We arrived in Orlando in two groups of four, two hours apart. The other four got to Port Canaveral on their own. They were visiting relatives.
Ed personally picked up the first group on time and took them to the motel in Port Canaveral. He was back at the airport waiting for our group of four when we arrived. The ride with Ed was delightful. He is interesting and entertaining. he wrote a book on Elvis.
The return was worrisome in that four of our party had to catch an early flight. We told Ed that we would do our best to get all 12 off the ship as early as possible. Ed said that the ship sometimes got ready to let people off earlier than the posted schedule and promised to have someone there waiting whenever we got to the curb. He supplied us with the driver's phone number and his own.
We did get off about an hour earlier than estimated. We called the driver and he was at the curb in about five minutes. he said that Ed had ask him to get there at least an hour early and that he had been there reading a book for almost an hour when we called.
He was delightful. At no extra charge, he let four of us out at one place at the airport, four including us at another and then took the last four to a nearby hotel. As proof of how much we enjoyed using Ed, my son (one of our four) is taking Port Canaveral cruise this spring and is using Ed.
For us Ed was special. His advice about how to get on and off the ship was right on and helpful. He was a trip highlight.

My friend and I (and our teenage boys) used Ed's services in March 2012. We had four trips booked with Ed. To and from the airport (one airport was Sanford), and to and from the cruise pier in Port Canaveral.
Our first pickup was in Sanford, and he brought us to International Dr. We got out of his vehicle and PAID HIM IN FULL for our entire trip. Now, my friend had used Ed twice prior. We NEVER had to wait a second for him. He was always there with a smile on his face. This was my first trip to Orlando, and I felt safe and comfortable.
I'm returning March 2013, my cruise is booked, and I'm calling Ed today.
PS. I have never taken the time to respond to anything like this before, but I couldn't stand seeing those things written about him.

I have recently used the services of Ed Korgan, three times, And I have absolutely no problem in recommending this gentleman as a safe, punctual, friendly and efficient professional . Who knows how to treat his customers(friends). He never ripped me off, if anything he was undercharging, for a premium service. We had the pleasure of having Ed drive us from Orlando to Cape Kennedy. We arranged to meet him at a given point 4 p.m. , but due to an unforeseen problem of retrieving a credit card from a machine, which resulted in meeting Ed an hour late. Was he upset? Absolutely not, Ed was his usual calm self and
just said Did you all have fun? Did he charge extra for his time, No way, he just continued to ask what we had seen, and did we like it, and went on to say he had as much fun as we had himself, as a passenger in a bi-plane, what a cool guy! That is the comment of two teenagers, and my wife and I have to agree.I felt I had to respond to the earlier
comments, as they does not appear to match the Ed Korgan we have met and respect. It does make me wonder if the earlier comments were written by someone who has not met the real Ed Korgan.Would we use Eds services again, Damn strait we would. During the entire set up of th trip, paying for the shuttle service, and being shuttled round trip from the airport to the cruise ship, Ed Morgan and his staff were awesome. They showed that no task is too big or small. He cares about his customer and is not wedded to a set of rigiid policies like the other shuttle services. Perhaps this is why he was unjustly trashed. I used Ed in april 2007 and have no complaints. He carried the bags, stopped for supplies at a non rip-off market on the way to our hotel, the SUV was excellent and he charged $90 each way from Sanford to International Drive. His total time helping us must have been nearly 3hrs and he was a mine of useful info. Anyone who thinks this is a rip off wants to see what I was quoted for a multi-stop/pick up coach transfer for the 5 of us(thats why I went online and found Ed in the first place). I would certainly use him again and won't be looking elsewhere the next time I go to Florida. Best of luck Ed.

I was totally shocked to read the UNTRUE report on Ed Korgan! Me and my family travelled to Florida in Sept 2008 and booked Ed to transport us from Sanford-WDW and from WDW to International Drive. Ed was fantastic to say the least. He was there waiting for us when we arrived, he took us to a grocery store so we could get some food, water etc before going to WDW saving us money. On the way to/from WDW he gave us a lot of good advice on places to go and eat which was great. I must also add he did not rip us off the price he e-mailed us was the price we paid and it was worth every penny for a FIRST CLASS SERVICE!!! It was also the cheapest quote that we got and we looked around before booking!! Unfortunately we were among the unlucky people who had booked with XL Airways and there was a lot of uncertainty regarding our flight home but after a phone call to Ed there was no problem as he was able and WILLING to accommodate any changes that would be made.
We found Ed to be reliable, honest, punctual and very friendly. He was great with our 3 year old daughter as we called him a surrogate grandad!!
On running my own business I know how damaging these reports can be but this one is TOTALLY UNTRUE!! It is obviously written by another dirver who is jealous of Ed's success!!
I would recommend anyone going to WDW to book Ed as you are GUARANTEED A FIRST CLASS SERVICE!
Good Luck Ed and we'l see you in 2010 when we head back to WDW.

The report posted regarding Ed Korgan and mco-taxi ,is the just total hogwash.
We first used Mr Korgans services in 2002 ,which we booked by the internet.We knew in advance what the costs would be and what he looked like, when we arrived at Sanford he was there waiting, on time.He made us feel at home straight away.He took us without delay to our i-drive hotel,gave us loads of tips about
Orlando and stuff to avoid. When it came to go home to U.K. he arrived early to pick us up and stayed at the airport to see us off.
The price we paid was cheaper than our holiday company could offer and direct airport to hotel ,no trips around various drop off points, and thats a plus after a long flight. We were so impressed with his services that in 2003 we visited again,
and although we had a larger family group and his cab was too small , he arranged
for a collegue to transport us still at a very competitive price , this time to Kissimee.Even though he was not our driver this time he came to say hi and meet us off the flight , even though we had a 24 hour delay.We have a very good friend in Ed Korgan.
Therefore in closing all i can say is that the Ed Korgan in your report is not the one i know, he is loyal, knowledgeable,polite and fair and a credit to taximen of Florida.
I think the report posted is libelous and should be removed.

My family and I are from Huntsville Alabama. I found Ed Korgan online and sent an email to him. Within 10 minutes, he had responded. Within 30, we had made a reservation from Sanford to Orlando.
We were greeted by Mr. Korgan. He had car seats ready for my children. He was the most caring and considerate person I had ever met. He stopped at the store for me, and helped me load groceries that I bought to save money for my family--His suggestion. When it was time to return home, he was there on time, helped us with our luggage, and helped us to the terminal. When we left, the family and I felt as if we were leaving family behind. THAT is Ed Korgan.
Note...I don't know what has happened to Mr. Korgan 30 years ago--don't really care. I just know how WE were treated. I'm sure if we dug far back enough in this complaintant's history, we would find some skeletons, huh? And...Mears apparantly owns Orlando. Everywhere you go, you see Mears this, and Mears that. It would probably be hard to find someone in Orlando who has not worked for Mears in the past. ANYWAY...
Mr. Korgan sends emails to update everyone. He also emailed me to check on my wife. We told him she was going to have surgery, and he called a few weeks later to make sure she was ok. That is above and beyond duty! Have no fear--Ed Korgan is the BEST.

Ed Korgan has transported our family and friends from Airport to Villa over the last
4 years. I found Ed's transportation services on the Internet and have never had one single problem with him. He is always on time for both journey to and from the airport and charges you exactly the fare agreed.
Ed will go out of his way to be of service to you , stopping at Supermarkets ,
advising you of places of interest, restaurants to visit etc, etc .
We have and will continue to use Ed's transportation services for all future visit's
as we now consider him 'one of the family'

This report does not in the least sound like the guy I met.
My family and I travelled with Ed back in 2006 for a special holiday, it was also my first experience of booking on my own and on the Internet , the whole dealing with Ed was Great - clear, friendly and definitly not a 'rip off'.
Ed was a welcome sight at the end of a very long journey and our transfer with him could not have been better, chatting and giving us some very good advice (which all turned out to be correct)for our stay in Orlando.
I felt totally confident with all Ed's arrangements for pick up times etc.
I suggest people look at how many people, like myself have had nothing but positive things to say about Ed, and would call on him again and have recommended him to others.

Ed Korgan delivered as promised!

I had the pleasure of using Mr. Korgan's services this past summer. I had arranged for Ed to pick-up my family of 5 at 10:00 am on June 27th at the Sanford-Olando airport and transport us to the Hard Rock Hotel. About three days before our scheduled departure (from New Jersey) the airline changed our flight status and we were now traveling on June 26th and arriving at Orlando-Sanford at approximately 9:00 pm. I contacted Ed and explained the switch in itinerary. Ed stated that he was not sure if he would be able to make the transport; however he stated that he would make sure there was someone there to pick up my family (with a big enough vehicle to hold our seven pieces of luggage).
While still in New Jersey packing on June 26th, I received a phone call from Ed who wanted to confirm our flight's status. Ed stated that he would meet us at the airport. Well, of course our flight was delayed a couple of hours and we did not arrive at Orland-Sanford until after 11:30 pm. Ed was waiting upon our arrival.
I explained to Ed that we would not be staying at the Hard Rock Hotel on the first night because we were unable to get a room for the extra night. We would be staying at the Wyndam for the first night, which is located past the Universal Resorts. Ed only charged me the amount that we agreed upon when I first booked with his company.
Ed offered to stop at a grocery store, but we told him it would not be necessary. We arrived at our hotel around 1:00 am. My wife was holding our sleeping 4 year-old and I went to check in. There were no bellhops available to assist with our bags. Ed not only unloaded his truck he placed all of our bags on a cart so I could push the bags to our room. Ed then stayed with my wife and three children until I returened (about 15 to 20 minutes later) even though I paid him before I went into the lobby of the hotel. He could have left, but he wanted to make sure they were okay. He went above and beyond what he had to do.
We only needed Ed's sevices for this one portion of our trip because we had to rent a car to visit family and friends in other parts of Florida. We returned the car at the airport. We will definitely use Ed's company the next time we need transportation in Florida.
The only negative thing I could say about Ed is that his jokes were only "OK," but I think I should give him a pass on that because it was after midnight when he was telling them to us.

We are a family who have travelled extensively all over the world. We know what is a rip-off. The writer clearly does not know the definition of a rip-off. If you look at Ed, you will never believe this report.
We made use of his service when we first arrive in Orlando and yes, we were so happy to have found him. He is efficient, reliable and very customer-oriented. Orlando must be glad to have him serving many tourists all over the world.
Our flight was delayed but when we finally arrived, Ed was still faithfully waiting for us at 10.oopm in the night. (Trust me, not many will wait till so late)
Although it was so late, Ed still volunteered to bring us to do some mini grocery shopping and that save us lots during our stay at Disney. Where do you find such service? Only from Ed Korgan

Our Travel Agency has used and recommended Ed's taxi service since 2005 and I personally had the privilege of using Ed's taxi service several times before and after cruises with my teenage daughters. Ed has always been prompt, realiabe, kind, courteous and affordable. Clients say that Ed's personal attention helps make the beginning and ending of their trips less stressful. My family used Ed Korgan's taxi service in September 2006 and again in April 2008, while visiting Orlando. He has a wonderful helpful gentleman who has shown himself to be professional, accomodating, honest, and trustworthy. The prices he quoted us over the internet were the price we paid, in fact when due to a show closing suddenly we had to change our plans, Ed did not charge us any more even though the place we were going to was further away. He offers fantastic service and I know he will always be waiting for us no matter which park we are at or what time, he will not abandoned us, unlike other companies we have used. This makes me feel very secure and I will always use him when we come out to Orlando. He not only goes above and beyond in his taxi service, but is friendly, informative, and kind.
Please do not hesitate to use Mr. Korgan's transportation, based on my families experience Ed is a true gentleman. He is always on time and delivers what he promises, and nothing is to much trouble for him.

Ed has servced as our first face of the USA since my Aunt bought a villa in Florida 4 years ago. Ed has always been kind courteous and a true gentleman.
When we arrived late last year and went to the wrng terminal for uplift, Ed waited over an hour as we were having problems using our cell phone to contact him. He waited paitiently and did not charge us any extra for HIS inconvenience, hardly a ripoff!!!
Also last year when our suitcase wouldn't close at hte last minute Ed had no issue stopiing at Wal-mart and then helping my husband try to close the case (no mean feat). These are just a few of the times Ed has helped graciously. This is certainly not the actions of someone who was going to rip you off.
Keep your head op Ed those of us who know you are right behind you and give you all of our support.
We will certainly be using you next time we are out.

I am writing in response to the Ripoff Report in defense of Mr. Ed Korgan. My family has used him for our transportation needs numerous times while we have traveled in the Orlando area and have always been 100% satisfied.
Mr. Korgan's prices are up-front, appropriate, and in most cases, even more competitive than other transportation prices in the Orlando area. Mr. Korgan has always been friendly, punctual or even early, and extremely helpful. He also has always allowed our family as much time as needed at the grocery store to pick up items before taking us to our destination. With two young children, this is a benefit that is much appreciated!
His vehicle has always been extremely clean and appears to be well maintained. I have observed him to follow all traffic laws and feel he is a well qualified, safe driver with whom I trust my family with.
I cannot help but feel that the individual who has written this unfortunate post regarding Mr. Korgan has a selfish motive behind his words. Shame on Ripoff Report for not removing this post as one can see from the number of positive rebuttal responses that this is a case of one person who for whatever reason has a vendetta against Mr. Korgan.

My family and I have been to many countries and have taken cabs from all over the world. We can tell the difference between a good one and a bad one.
Ed is definitely a good driver with excellent service and one who would go the extra mile for his customers.
We made use of his service when we were at Disney World for the very first time. Our flight was 1 hour delayed but Ed was still waiting for us faithfully at the arrival hall when we finally arrived. (For your information, not many drivers do that)Knowing that we are first timer, he brought us to do some grocery shopping which helped us to save lots during our stay at Disney.
Would a normal cab driver go that extra mile?

Me and my family used Ed Korgan as our transportation to and from the airport to Disney. He was so very professional and his fees were the absolute best we could find. We totally find this outrageous report to be bogus and will plan on using Ed in the future also recomending him to others. We feel this man is being treated unfairly and find it very hard to believe this report. Our trip was in September so our experience is very recent.

I went on vacation with my family in July. Ed Korgan was our chauffeur. He was a wonderful driver with a great personality. He gave us helpful tips for our trip. I would reccomend him to all my friends and family. I would also call Ed korgan every time I go to Orlando, Florida.

false false false i booked a pick up from Sanford airport to international drive with ed korgan July 2007 who was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. the price was perfectly acceptable but most of all was the pleasant manner of ed and the advice to places to go and visit and eat etc. overall i had a great experience with ed and would not hesitate to use him again. I have been coming to Florida for many years now. Some 3 years ago I made contact with Ed during my continuing serch for a reliable taxi company. We use Ed twice a year for a 30 mile return journey. What a nice man he is and he is always waiting for us upon our arrival. I can only say to anyone looking for a taxi service, give Ed a try and you will be more than happy with his service. I believe Mr Haywood from New Jersey has done Ed a great favour. Just look at the support he has from many of his customers. When was the last time you heard so many nice things about a cab driver. We travelled from N. Ireland in July 2008 and I found Ed's name recommended through Sanford airport website. It was after I had already booked his pickup from the airport and searched through the internet that I found the untrue allegations made about Mr Korgan. where someone had used him for transport from a cruise. This put my mind at rest.
When we arrived at the airport Ed was waiting at the door for us, he took us to our Walt Disney Resort Hotel (he just shows his authorised pass and the security barriers were opened for us). We booked a return journey and had to pay the total amount up front. Again no problems - 2 weeks later Ed was at the front of our hotel to take us back to the airport. He will also do a Supermarket stop for you at no extra cost (do this even if its just to get water you save a fortune rather than buying at WDW - info courtesy of Ed). I would have no hesitation in using his services again, he is a very pleasant and reliable gentleman and will give any information you require. (Note to Irish/GB travellers - we were going to be charged 25.00 per person for a family of four return from Sanford to Caribbean Beach Resort via coach through our travel company - for around the same price you can get Ed's lovely air-conditioned SUV to take you directly there, not stopping at every hotel to drop of passengers plus check-in was quick as there wasn't a coach-load arriving all at once)

We used Mr. Korgan's taxi service in August 2008 while visiting Orlando. He has shown himself to be nothing less than professional, accomodating, honest, and trustworthy. The prices he quoted us WERE the prices we were charged. He offers fantastic service and it is a shame that anyone would say otherwise. He not only goes above and beyond in his taxi service, but is friendly, informative, and kind.
For those who would hesitate to use Mr. Korgan's transportation - based on my experience have no fear. He returns calls, makes special arrangements, is on time, delivers what he promises, and seems to be an all around nice guy ..I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ed to anyone who needs transportation.

I am an attorney living in Champlain NY, we found ed through an internet site for our trip to Disney two years ago. I have four children and we found Ed's price to be fair, I recall he charged us $100 round trip from our hotel to the airport. The service was great, he stopped at Walmart to alow us to pick some stuff up, he was right on time for both pick ups. We really felt very compfortable in his hands. He was great with the children very nice and after a few minutes he felt like you have known him for years. He has no meter in his vehicle, did not try to change his fees so why this person is making this stuff up is crazy. Just goes to show you what your competitors will do to you when you are doing a great job. Again he gave us a price over the internet, he stuck to it, showed up on time, got us safely to and from our destination with great service. He even had car seats for no extra cost for the younger ones. We are planning another trip to disney and if we do use a car service we will use him again.

My family's experience with Mr. Korgan was outstanding. He was referred to us by a friend, and we found the same qualities in Mr. Korgan that our friend did. These qualities were fairness (in pricing), super friendliness, and just a kind spirit in general.

My family and I are regular visitors to Florida and have used 'Ed Korgan Airport Transportation' on each of our visits both from and to the airport.
WE HAVE FOUND ED KORGAN TO NOT ONLY BE DEPENDABLE, PUNCTUAL, PROFESSIONAL AND COURTEOUS, BUT ALSO ACCOMMODATING IN THAT, ON EACH OCCASION MY FAMILY AND I HAVE VISITED FLORIDA, ED HAS BEEN KIND ENOUGH TO STOP AT A WAL-MART AND ALLOW US TO PICK UP ESSENTIAL ITEMS TO TAKE WITH US TO OUR VILLA .... AT NO EXTRA COST .... TRY GETTING THAT SERVICE FROM OTHER OPERATORS.
WE HAVE FOUND HIS TRANSPORTATION FEES TO BE EXCELLENT AND AGREED BEFOREHAND AND I CAN SAY WITH SOME CONFIDENCE THAT HE IS ANYTHING BUT A 'SCAM ARTIST'.
Upon reading the report, it would appear that the author has undertaken a quite considerable amount of 'searching around' for just being someone who Ed has transported .... they have canvassed other passengers, made enquiries at Orlando Airport, established that Ed has 'attacked customers', established that he illegally picks up and has previously been fined for his conduct, etc .... all this for an alleged $30 overcharge ..... I find this both REMARKABLE and UNBELIEVABLE and would venture that the report has been put together by someone who has 'an axe to grind' with Ed, perhaps another transportation operator, not a passenger .....??!!

After reading the post against Ed Korgan, I was shocked that someone would make such a statement. All I can say is that my experience with Ed was absolutely professional. I am handicapped and Ed made special provisions and time to shuttle my husband and I from one airport to the next. He helped load my scooter into his vehicle as well as our luggage, and talking with him was fun and interesting.

Ed is by far the nicest driver we have ever had during any of our Disney vacations and we have used his service several times.
He is always polite, safe and efficient. Even when we're running late or the airlines have jammed up our schedule, Ed is smiling and patient.
When he stops by a grocery store for us, he always has the sale flyer for us to help us save money.
But most of all, Ed is polite and sweet to my kids, which always makes him tops in my book.
Ed is the real deal and we always look forward to seeing him. You will not find a more professional and polite driver in Disney.

We found Ed on the internet in 2006 he looked like a really nice guy and we like his website.
After contacting him via email and getting to know a little more about him we booked our return transportation.

I have used the transportation service provided by Ed Korgan several times to transport my family (including my 3 very precious grandchildren) from Sanford airport to Disney World.
We have been extremely pleased with his service. He has always been prompt and very pleasant to deal with. He is very patient with noisy children and accomodating to all of us. His fares have been exactly as quoted and seem like a bargain compared to those of the "mass transportation" which is so common. We are a group of 6 who fit comfortably in his vehicle, which is always immaculate and comfortable.
I recommend Ed Korgan to anyone needing the personal attention his taxi service provides. It is a welcome change to the mass confusion which is Disney World.

I located Mr. Korgan on the Sanford International Airport website. If the airport's official website listed Mr. Korgan that was endorsement enough for me. Mr. Ed, as we affectionately call him, responded to my email timely and even suggested a hotel that provided free shuttle service. After spending the night in Sanford I contacted Mr. Ed by telephone. Not only did he call me by name he asked if we had a nice flight from Chattanooga. We discussed the cruise as we had via email the previous month or so and he suggested that we leave by 8:00 in order to get to the port timely. Mr. Ed shared his cruise experiences with us during the ride. He was so personable. Being a talker myself I found this refreshing. He spoke about his grandson and was just the proud grandpa. We arrived at the port and started our vacation stress free. We returned to the port on September 11. Before we were even able to disembark Mr. Ed called and ensured us that he was already in the parking lot area. Mr. Korgan provided transportation for my family and myself last year in Florida. He picked us up early from our hotel and drove us the 45 minute trip to our Carnival ship. He was there once again bright and early when our ship returned four days later. He provided my family excellent service and a comfortable ride. He made us feel like we were family that came for a visit. He even drove us to the supermarket so we could load up on snacks and buy our wine bottles for the cruise.
He keeps constant contact with all of his past customers and I know that if I was in Florida again and needed to be driven around I would call on him again.

I am filing a rebuttal to this claim as my experience with Ed is 100% positive. Ed took my family from the Orlando International airport to Port Canaveral and back to the airport last summer (2008). He was always prompt in contacting me, via e-mail or phone prior to first meeting him on the day of our pick-up. Ed accommadated us in every way, was courteous, reliable, friendly, helpful, and his fare was reasonable in comparison (I did a lot of research before booking with him). I never felt uncomfortable, ripped off, or in any other way negative about our experience with Ed. I wouldn't hesitate for a moment to book another trip with him.

My family and I have used Ed Korgan to take us to Disney World from the airport at least 6 times in the last 5 years. Ed is a quality person and a responsible and friendly driver. It is my opinion that the items reported here are false. I always use Ed's car service in Orlando and have referred him to a number of friends and family.

Ed is a great guy and has a wonderful service. He is very punctual and helpful. I often travel alone with 4 kids and Ed makes the airport transporation easy. He was very professional even when the 2 year old screamed to get out of his car seat for much of the trip. By the way, Ed provides car seats for no charge. My husband feels completely comfortable sending me to Disney with the kids knowing that Ed will meet me and help with the bags and airport transportation. I might even see if he'll drive us to Vero Beach sometime since I hate driving (especially with a fussy toddler). I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ed to anyone who needs transportation.

My husband, three children and myself flew into Orlando International Spring Break of 2008, (first week of April) and needed a ride to Port Canaveral to begin our Royal Caribbean Cruise. Mr. Korgan was waiting for us at the bottom of the escalator, loaded our bags and whisked us to our ship. Upon our return he took us back to Orlando and even made an excellent suggestion for a hotel to rest at before our flight left later that evening. He was professional, courteous, helpful, timely and will ALWAYS be our preferred driver when we need one in the Orlando area. No ripoffs here. Only exemplary service.

We were lucky to find Ed on the internet and arrange for him to collect us from our flight from Scotland. He was waiting for us to arrive at Orlando Sanford and was very friendly and helpful. He told us about lots of places to visit and places to eat, on our journey into International Drive and we tried them all out. On the return journey two weeks later Ed had another booking from a couple arriving, who's flight had been delayed, he didn't want to let us down or the other couple who had been delayed. He sorted out another driver for us who was really great too. Ed then called about 3 times to make sure everything was ok, which it was and apologised for the trouble, there was no trouble. We were very pleased with Ed's service and would recommend him to anyone. He is trustworthy, friendly, helpful, reliable and very reasonably priced.

We have used Ed Korgan's service every year since 2006 and most recently on Sept. 26 2009 & Sept 30, 2009. He is an absolute professional who goes out of his way to be helpful. His rates are always reasonable and fair. He has always been on time if not early and his vehicle is in great shape and clean. His open and friendly personality as well as his professional service keeps us coming back.

Two more things about Ed besides the fact that I would recommend him over any other way to get to and from WDW from Orlando airport -- he's a former airline traffic controller so he's careful, timely, considerate, business-like. Second, if you take the time to get to know him, he is poassionate about his grandson, and he loves pro football and eating grapes. And he will let you play whatever music and even eat in his very clean Suburban passenger van. I remember when my six year old spilled a whole bag of goldfish in the van. I was upset. Ed acted like it was no big deal. My kids trip to Disney would not be complete without saying hi to Ed on the way to and from Disney.

Ed Korgan is outstanding From Orlando Airport to Disney World

The complaint about Ed Korgan is not justified. I am an attorney from Chicago. I have taken my family (wife and two children) to Disney World 10 times from June 2004 through May 2008. We have used Ed Korgan the last 9 times (each visit since October 2004). Ed is outstanding. Meets us where we need him, always timely, drops us off at the grocery store to pick up groceries for our week long visit at our DVC room at the Boardwalk. My kids love Ed, my wife loves Ed, I love Ed. He charges us about $100 round trip but I pay him $125 each visit without even batting an eye. He deserves it because he starts and ends our trip in a way far better than Mears ever could.
Ed was at the forefront of challenging some of the larger "tour bus" operators trying to corner the market on trips to and from WDW-Orlando Airport. Many of the "limo operators" have been put out of business since 2003. I suspect that the "complainer" is someone who is threatened by Ed's success. Ed has numerous customers who are repeat customers. I refer people who are going to WDW to Ed and they always say that Ed's service is outstanding. Trust me folks...Ed is the real deal - punctual, fair in price, nice guy to talk to on the trips to/from WDW, accomodating, etc. Best way to get to and from WDW is Ed Korgan.

The comments made about me are completely bogus. I left the Mears Transportation group in July, 2004 to better take care of my passengers with my own service. The report filed in 2006 stated I metered $90.00. My vehicle does not have a meter. I use standard rates and am usually within the cheapest rates that you will be able to find. My vehicle is permitted in the city of Orlando, Orlando International Airport, Orlando-Sanford International Airport, Orange county and Osceola county.
I have been very active in getting the unpermitted or the gypsy drivers hanging around and overcharging customers, out of the Orlando International Airport, and perhaps the reason for the filing of this report by Haywood, who is probably ficticious himself.
