This person, of course, has a wife, and just had a child born. They live in a small town, in which, there are hardly any employment opportunities. They of course live below the poverty level and will not better their situation by moving to where the jobs are, go figure!
So us taxpayers or relatives have to offset their situation in order for them to make ends meet.
So, when does our society say, enough is enough!!!

Confused!

AUTHOR: Eagle - (U.S.A.)

I'm totally confused on this one. I'm not quite getting the picture. It looks like the one who originally wrote this is doing one rebuttal after another against himself.

If I understand this correctly, you are a relative of the one you say is a deadbeat dad? You have bought him and his family a home and given him a job? Clarification: the definition of a "deadbeat parent", isn't one who has a family that he/she lives with and can only find employment in a low income job. It is a parent who for whatever reason is separated from their family and is court-ordered to pay support and/or doesn't spend time with their child/children because THEY choose not to, not because the other parent won't let them(unless that parent poses a threat to the child/children such as being violent, emotionally, verbally or sexually abusive, in which case no one can blame the other parent for denying parenting time)

You say in you first rebuttal, basically end of discussion and you aren't reading the postings anyway yet you keep posting rebuttals and going on and on.

Here is some helpful advice( and by what I gathering from your other rebuttals, I'm sure your going to have nasty comments to say to me): No one forced you to support this family. Yes, it was a very nice gesture buying them a home and giving him a job, BUT, it isn't a kind gesture if your going to turn around and not only bi**h about it but publically humiliate him and his family.

Has settled

AUTHOR: Scott - (U.S.A.)

Now, you prejudgemental people out there, This person is a family member, enough said on that, now here are the facts, in which you are so eager to argue factual written down documents, I have supported this family for 3 years, now to end all of this Bashing, This person of which is head of the household, has finally decided to moved to a little larger city to help support his family better, I have bought his family, a $185,000 home, like chat rooms maybe, or maybe not, you wonder how this is feasible, well, that is my business, I am in the entertainment business. This family has decided to live a more profiltable life, with no restitution back to me, (if you must know).

Plus, I have even provided a job, (if you must know) that is a $47,000 a year job. Now those are the facts, if you disaggree with these facts, then, you might or might not be a liability. I am not going to diclose personal thoughts or feelings, I think your rebuttals will suffice for the thought mode. This ends this forum on this particular subject. There will be no more reading or proofreading rebuttals by me on this matter. So, any rebuttals will be read and fought thru with among you. So all you among you that have rebuttled, now have been named at my shows, dedicated to you...So happy rebuttelling among all of you...Ty

Confused?

AUTHOR: Laura - (U.S.A.)

What is the issue here? Why are you singling out this one person or family? Who has the child/children, the parents, or you? If they have the child, and they are a family then what is it any of your business? Is this your child? Are you the dead beat father? I'm confused. Please explain more so we as readers can understand what you are talking about, and what ripp off has been done to whom?

I don't understand

AUTHOR: Mike - (U.S.A.)

Scott,

I do not understand your reply. I was simply pointing out that your definition of him as a deadbeat dad is incorrect. What does me hiring a lawyer have to do with anything?

As for the rest of your complaint, is it really any of your business? Just because you pay taxes doesn't give you the right to complain about one person screwing the system in a public forum. There are MILLIONS of people who do the same thing. Besides, the government wastes more of your tax dollars than this one individual. I don't see you railing against them!

Wow, get over yourself

AUTHOR: Mike - (U.S.A.)

Scott,

A "deadbeat dad" is a father who doesn't pay child support, therefore your characterization of Mr. Peirson is incorrect. As for his working status, if he is living below the poverty level, how can he afford to save money to move?

Just because someone is unemployed doesn't mean he is lazy, nor does it mean he doesn't WANT to work. Way to care for your fellow man, there scotty boy.
