Edd Helms Edd Helms air Conditioning Bait & Switch, Excessive Overcharges, Bad Service MIAMI Florida

After contacting Edd Helms for service on an air conidtioner, for which we have a maintance contract, and being charged for two service calls which included installing new parts on the unit I am informed I need a new unit.  A salemans arrives, very rude to my wife and I request a price for the new unit.  I am informed I'll get an email.  One week goes by , no email.  I call and ask for new salesperson speaking to sales manager, he tells me I need to work with original rude salesman.   He calls back hours later and quotes me $4875 for a new 5 Ton Unit and Return and insists he needs to come to my office to get my signature on the work order.  Upon arrival he switches me to a lower model unit for same price and tells me its actually better.  As a consumer I ask him is this a good price for the unit and his reply is it's a great price.  I sign and he asks me for my credit card and signautes and he leaves and apologizes for all my troubles and ensires me he'll push the order through fast.   Well, I have come to learn that A. the unit he downgraded me to is less expensive and provides less air, and he charged me the same, and to make matters worse, I call another air conditioning company and they offer me the original model I ordered for $2675,  a $2200 DIFFERENCE IN PRICE!  I will never use Edd Helms again!!  They are a ripoff!  Check with others before signing on the dotted line and overpaying by nearly double!!!!
