I have recently come back to the US after being stationsed overseas with my husband. Since returning I have been applying for open positions in search of employment. I have now been getting daily phone calls from the same 2 people from a company called eDegree. These individuals are asking me if I am interested in furthering my education.
I have 2 Master's and am currently enrolled in school. When I tell them that I am not interested I am hung up on. When I ask that they remove me from their list I am hung up on. When I ask to speak to their suporvisor I am hung up on. I cannot get these people or this company to stop calling me. When I call the number back that calls me they hang up on me once I ask to speak to their suporvisor.
I am in search of any information that I can find about this company so that I may put an end to the phone calls! I have googled it but can't find any information on the company.

Let me first start by apologizing on behalf of them.
I was an employee for them and I will tell you I have been reprimanded for removing people from the call list. So I think those people are honestly just trying to get paid, which I 100% do not do. You just don't treat people that way. Even when I get yelled at I simply apologize and wish them a nice day.
There are some things I just found out that worry me about the company...
I just found out that we also call people from a blocked number. I was not told this in training.
I was told we have you alls info from a form you fill out on our site. I went to the site and there is no said form.
I don't know but doesn't that seem a little sketchy?
At this point I am planning to resign. I do not feel comfortable with the way things are being handled. The only reason I am still here is because I recently found out if I have less than 20 hours I could or could not get paid. Can they do that? I'm not sure ,but I've worked here for 4 days and I wish I didn't need the money.
I am so sorry to those affected by the harrassment of EDegree.
