Enclave Apartments, as owned by Edward Rose Co. advertises not only a "way of life" in their community and assures prospective tenants that they will not have any issues with loud neighbors, Internet, parking, maintenance, etc. as well as advertises that they provide (with a charge to the tenant) high speed Internet, home phone installation, and clean buildings and hallways and clean grounds. This is not the case for any of the above mentioned.
I moved in last fall. I was charged right away for home phone, dish tv (which they control) and "high speed Internet"....the maintenance crew could not find a dial tone, they left their equipment in my wall, with my furniture pulled out and never returned. Since they never returned and could not find a dial tone, I asked the apartment agent to stop charging me since they were unable to connect me with a home phone. I immediately got a lecture on how the "entertainment package is written with your lease and is considered part of your lease, etc." and it could not be removed.
Since last fall, the Internet goes off more times than it is on. They finally showed up to change modems, but it still doesn't work 90% of the time. No refund has ever been offered and when maintenance or the office says they are coming to look at it, no one shows up, yet I PAY for this service each month.
The grounds are trashy and have dog poop all over. Another lie about how they keep their grounds, "immaculate".
The office also assured me they hold packages for residents, nope, another lie. They have misadvertised everything that I signed for and am now seeking an attorney. They will not take care of the noisy residents upstairs after repeated letters, phone calls and more complaints from a tenant who lives above them. They ignore all problems. I called the corporate office and Curt Neilson never returned my call. Edward Rose is all about getting your money, under false circumstances. Be cautious.
