I moved in this apt in oct of 2012 when I first moved in I smelled gas so I called the leasing office who sent over a the maintance guy,he thought he fixed the problem only to come back two more times before he realized i needed a new stove so for the first day no stove. day two got a stove 8pm.Day two my son went to take a show the water went every where called the leasing office sent the same guy he fixed it day three saw somebugs didnt know what they were called the leasing office sent over the same guy he sprayed for silver fish I sprayed the apt myself for bed bugs because the apt is known for having them.Day 8 smells like raw sewage in my bed room called leasing office sends the same guy he says nothing is wrong day 9 same smell coming from under the sink in the bath room same guy comes he says maybe if he changes the cabinet it will go away following week new cabinet same bad smell call leasing office two guys come over cut into the wall cant find anything so Im smelling this bad odor for another week until I consult with a plumber then I call the office and tell themwhat my plumber said so they hire a contractor finally the following week contractors come and find that the plumbing in the wall was damaged and there was damages to the the pipe on the roof.Now it is Feb 2013 Im seeing bugs again call the leasing office they send the same guy thats says the bugs are bed Bugs I go to the leasing office the next day to see what is going to be done Debbie the Manager says I have to Pay 300.00 for someone to come Out I have a 20 month old son who has been bitten all over his legs these are the same bugs that I saw in oct So the guy comes to spray he will come two more times but Debbie says that I infested the apt so I have to pay the Windemere apts have a history for having bed bugs I told Debbie when I moved that I had a small child and that I could not afford to end up with Bed bugs I had to throw out my others sons bed now he has nothing to sleep on it is not fair they need to shut this building down I dont want to pay 300.00 dollars Im in the apt from hellIve been bitten on my elbows and I have been buying bed bugs spray every week I would like my security deposit back and I want out of my lease.....Even after the cut into the wall they never repared it PLEAS HELP
