I'm now trying to get ahold of someone to cancel this order and lo and behold... it's like pulling teeth!! First off, on their pamphlet that is sent to you, the 800-834-1715 number they give you refers you to a "900" # that charges $9.99. Not even a live person answers this number. Then I call another 800 # on the reverse side of the package. Well, this is a real number, only thing is...it's not Eight Squared-Berkeley's.
THIS IS A FRAUD AND SCAM!!! But I intend on fighting them and getting answers. If I can't trust them to give correct phone numbers... how do I know what "their" AVLAMIL consists of???

POSTED: Tuesday, August 03, 2004I think this is a matter of someone not reading everything before confirming an order. The print was small and took just a few seconds of scanning the page that popped up to know what was going on. I don't have the email address, since I had subscribed in the past and was very satisfied with the product. I know that I was able to cancel my subscription before, without calling a 900 number and with no additional charges. I didn't cancel because I wasn't satisfied with the product, but only that my financial situation at the time would not allow a $35/month expense.
