Einstein Industries develop and facilitate website and internet communication and patient payments to doctors, dentists, and medical professionals dealing in cash pay health care. Their primary market is specialty medical fields such as plastic surgeons and dentists. Their vision is to expand the cash pay medical sector of medical professionals.

Their company appeals to their target market, specialists in the medical field, by attending medical trade shows and aiming their emphasis toward plastic surgeons. They have a national sales force that covers all parts of the country with specific sales people assigned to areas to generate new clients. Additionally, they have an expanding referral base generated from past and existing clients.

When working with Einstein Industries, a client will first complete a consultation and evaluation to determine their business method and function. Next, they will be provided with a complete 40-120 page report outlining a suggested internet approach for search engine optimization to achieve the best results.

Their sales approach is a consulting and client education process, as opposed to a sales pitch. After they have an evaluation of the clients business, they provide a detailed 40-120 page report with design recommendations and site optimizations for review and discussion. They also review and discuss with the client the internal review of this report and how to implement it internally into their business. Should the client choose not to use their services, the report is still theirs to keep.

Internally, their company is constantly training their staff to improve all areas of their work within the company. They believe that good, consistent training in website and sales communication is vital.

Doing whatever it takes to make the client happy

During the onsite interview, President Ted Ricasa was asked how he advises employees to “do whatever it takes” to make the client happy: “The customer always comes first, listen to their problem and find a solution. Regardless of whether or not the problem is real or perceived, the customer is first. Take all steps necessary, but do not hesitate to bring in additional help and expertise from every level of the company. If this means going to the CEO, do it. No changes have been made to our policy since complaints were made; we have just put additional emphasis on client satisfaction.”

Mr. Ricasa was also asked to describe a specific situation where a client was not satisfied with the level of service they received: “The most common situations have been along the lines of a client forgetting, unintentional mistakes, and just simple errors. We take the time to reeducate the client about the website and internal uses. We do not consider these complaints, just common errors involved in technology and its uses. Specifically, we had a complaint centered, not on a product issue but rather a personality conflict between the client and his field representative. We assigned him a new field rep and the issue was resolved, a simple communications error. We still have the client and he has become one of our best referrals and is still with the company.”

Einstein Industries Robert Silkey - Teodoro Ricasa Overcharging for listings, no longer buying advertising on the search engines, no longer linking to doctors website, no longer making free corrections, making doctors pay to upload before and after picutes (and selling them the software so they can upload pictures themselves) not paying employess, and not paying payroll tax to the tune of > $4 million and this was BEFORE the recession. San Diego California

This place defies all laws of social Darwinism; the longer they are in business the more ways they find to lie to clients AND employees. First, they charge an arm and a leg to their clients (doctors, dentists, and lawyers) to list their practice website in an overpriced directory online. They tell their sales people not to worry because Doctors and Lawyers don't feel they are getting anything of "value" unless they are being overcharged. Likewise, when they sell the positions in their directory - docshop.com or lawyershop.com - they tell the prospective client that they are one of the largest advertisers on Google and no company spends more in the elective health care or law arena. However it does not take an Einstein to go to Google and type in 'breast augmentation', 'cosmetic dentistry', 'lasik', or 'family law' and notice a distinct void of any paid advertisements by this company; hey that's not what you told me when I signed up! What happened to the co-op advertising strategy and having more visility that any other company out there like it?

Then they told me it would take 4 months to build my site and it took over 14 months; 3 designers, 1 video shoot, and 4 writers later I am almost done. They told me video is going to take over the internet because Google now owns all the copyrighted material on YouTube and because they are the titans of the industry EVERYONE will be doing video like Google so watch out Yahoo and Microsoft! Darn , wrong again, how gullible am I to believe those people? The straw that broke the camel's back was not that I finally got a rep that wasn't trying sell me a bridge and they left (probably not getting paid), not the turn-over rate of my design team, not the amount of time that it took to complete the site, nor the rumor that they aren't paying there staff on time (http://www.1personalinjurylawyers.com/pi/news/einstein-california-labor-law.html but the audacity of the Senior Manager, Justin or Jason, and the CEO Robert Silkey, who insulted my site (that I paid them to create) and told me that I needed to spend some time with him so I can learn about Google's new revolution that is going to change everything and I need to be prepared for or just got out of the internet all together. After spending more that 2 hours on the phone with the guy and 2 appointments, he wanted 1 more and another hour, I walked away wondering if I was on Earth still and we actually spoke the same language, I realized he did not hear 1 word I said and made a joke about my chosen profession. Not only did he not listen to anything but in fact tried to tell me it was my fault the project dragged and that I agreed to finish as is and that if I wanted to add all the cases that I have photographed in the past year was going to cost me thousands of dollars MORE than I had already wasted (just reliving this makes my blood boil!) because they have new software that is the best thing since sliced bread because I get to load the photos myself after I buy the software. WHAT A CROCK! Why don't I dump my malpractice insurance, let patients make their own prognosis, should them where the anesthesia, gauze, and equipment is, then they can treat themselves AFTER they pay a premium for the privilege. No wonder the directory is losing clients everywhere. I would never recommend this company, not even to my biggest enemy, if I ever get one, due to their blatant disregard for ethics and decency. To top it all off they don't even pay their employees on time and are being sued by the CA Labor Commissioner for $250,000.
