We purchased their extended service policy... Since (May 4, 2008) my fridge is still not repaired correctly it is now of August 1st 2008.. They sent out RSI which diagnosed it as being the water line and put on a saddle valve which was the (incorrect part) and it came apart when the water was used and caused app[roximate $20,000 of damage to my home. They sent out the same company and again, put on the same part.
I had to call a plumber to have it fixed correctly with over $100 out of pocket. The leak still exists and the ice maker stopped working Electrolux stated that it was the ice maker and was sending out a new ice maker, Instead I waited a week and a half for them to send out THE WRONG ice maker motor and gave me a number to a new service company.
When the part finally arrived, I called out the new service company and they stated that Electrolux sent wrong part and there was a problem with the fill valve. The technician ordered new parts. They arrived about a week and a half later with THE WRONG PARTS. I have spent countess hours from work and on the phone trying to reach someone from upper management. Of course no one wants to let me through to upper management. I have tried to get a hold of Anthony Hunt, Keith Mclghlin and Hans Straberg but they will not give me any contact numbers or transfer me. Case #9846015
Today, the new parts arrived again... THE WRONG PARTS FOR THE THIRD TIME!!! CASE # 9846015 I WOULD LIKE UPPER MANAGEMENT TO CONTACT ME... I have wasted so much time and had such a loss of work that I could have purchased all new appliances for my kitchen.... I doubt very highly if they will be Electrolux or Frigidare unless someone higher up solves this problem today.
