While traveling in Cabo San Lucas Mexico we attended a timeshare presentation at Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach in July of 2008. I was determined to not buy another timeshare but the hook was we were promised that the timeshare we owned at the Villa del Palmar in Cabo would be sold.

Our Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach salesman told us that the Villa del Palmar timeshare was very valuable and would sell rather quickly. In fact he said that we should ask $9,000.00 dollars asking price for the one bedroom. We agree because this would allow us to sell and pay for the new timeshare at Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach and have some money left over.

This is where Kevin Trachsel of Elite Retreat de Mexico comes into the picture. He was recommended personally by Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach. I think that Kevin is receiving kickbacks from Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach. During the time period between August 2008 and now February 2011 we have sent countless emails and letters to Kevin asking when he is going to sell our timeshare. Kevin always has an excuse. First we are asking too much. I tell him to lower the cost and he does to $5000.00 dollars but we still have no buyers. Kevin charged $250.00 dollars to sell the time share. In a recent email on November of 2010 this is what Kevin said.

"We listed your Villa del Palmar back in August of 2008. The listing was a 1 year agreement but due to the media issues and economy, we extended the advertising for 1 more year. This was done as a favor to Pueblo Bonito owners. I will continue to try to find a buyer for your membership and if you'd like to contact me you can reach me at the toll free number below or call my direct line at 1-619-793-5237.."

Kevin now claims that I should pay to have it listed another year. The property is still listed on the Elite retreat web site. http://eliteretreatdemexico.com/villa-del-palmar-33/

I have asked Kevin to take what he can get still no response. Do not get fooled the way we did. Stay away from Elite Retreat and Kevin Trachsel. He is bad news.
