Please beware of doing ANY business with Elliot Management Group, They will tell you what ever you want to hear and once you have signed the contract they will outright ignore you. When I spoke with their representatives on the first two occasions to have my account set up they promised they would pay off my old machine and bring me a new one.
When I looked at the contract I noticed the monthly fee was $79.00 which I thought was high so I had the rep who brought the machine call her supervisor(who had been present at the first appointment.)to find out why it was so much. She informed me the monthly fee was so high because they were paying off my old machine for me. I wasn't really happy about this but I agreed to it even though I shouldn't have.
When I checked my statement the first month I noticed my former credit card processor was still charging me for my terminal. I called Elliot Management Group to find out why they were still charging me and they said it should be the last time it happened. I asked if they would be reimbursing me for the charge and they said they would look into it and call me back.
No one EVER called me back about ANYTHING... The next month the same thing happened again so I called again. Again no one EVER called me back. I finally called and asked to talk to someone right away and when I asked to talk to my rep I was informed she no longer worked there and she couldn't find any paperwork stating they would assume the old credit card machine bill so I was to be responsible for it myself. I also might add they raised my rental charge from $79.00 to $92.00 for no reason whatsoever.
And yes I did call the number on the side of the machine to try to talk to someone else but they informed me it wasn't their problem either.
Now I noticed that every keyed number I enter into the machine claims the zip is a mismatch no matter if it is or not so I am being charged the highest rate on all of them. I have contacted the service rep through the number on the side of the machine but they can't fix it and want to charge me a $50.00 fee to replace THEIR malfunctioning machine. Go figure...
PLEASE do not do business with Elliot Management Group, eventually they will get you for more than you planned on spending.
I haven't even gone over the hidden charges and fees, it would take too long and I don't want to bore you with any more details.

Although I do not agree with the employee that sent their opinion, I do have to applaud their tact, they were very polite in their manner!  I do however wish that some of the people you worked for had your same politeness.  The people that I have dealt with over my matter could not care less about any of their clients. 

In my case my husband had a stroke and because of the economy and other things we were forced to cut back a great deal, when I contacted Eliot they not only could not help me, they refused to even consider it or forward me to someone that possibly could help me.  In this day and age that is a shame, we all could use a little help or even consideration.  I hope they get more people like you that will teach the rest how to be considerate.

I work for Eliot Management Group and unfortunately like every company their are always bad reps. it is unfortunate that you may have experienced one like that, however as far as you being promised that EMG would pay off your old machine and replace it with a new one, the rep should have informed you that it was going to cost you money to do that. I have "bought out" a machine from one of my merchants and all it is, is a form they sign with a letter from their current company for how much is still owed and then we sent them a check to cover the balance owed on their terminal.

as far as your bill increase from 79 to 92 you should contact LFG "leasing Financial Group" as they are the ones who you are paying for the machine you can find their number on the leasing document that you signed with all of your paper work.

EMG is a great company and i enjoy working for them and helping businesses i have allot of businesses of whom i am the rep for and they absolutely love the fact that i am their to help them in every step of the way.

As far as your hidden fees i have a hard time believing that because i have seen our statements compared to many other statement out their and they are really easy to read and understand and we don't have "hidden" fees the standard rates and fees that are associated with accepting credit cards is all we charge.

And yes their is a $50 replacement charge. it is just like with a cell phone if it breaks and they have to send another one they charge $50 because it is being over nighted

i am sorry you had a bad rep and experience with EMG. I love working for this company and will gladly continue working for them as long as i possibly can. their are allot of bad company's out their and EMG is just not one of them, and their are allot of bad reps even thought i know EMG does their best to make sure they never get the job.
