Judy and Armand Franquelin, through James Smith real estate seminars, connected with my brother in law and had him invest 116 K in an LLC called the Elva GRoup through a self directed IRA set up with Sterling TRust company of Texas. It was a promissary note supposedly invested in a web site that had to do with some investment in real estate in South Africa. So many lies. Lie after lie about when that money..the note was due... would be coming. Month after month. Certified letters sent to all involved asking for collection on the past due not where all returned because the offices on Chambers street no longer exist. Armand does not return a call. Judy Franquelin who is up to her neck in this refuses to even except an email from me, stating that she is no longer affiliated with the Elva GRoup yet she was my brother in laws main contact. She called him all the time at his place of business. She was the schmoozer. I am power of attorney for my sister, the widow who was rooked out of half her life savings. James Smith is up to his neck too. The many many times i tried to get ahold of him or get messages through to him through his cronies have failed. When i mentioned the Franquelins to his cronies, they all knew exactly who I was talking about. Everyone is protecting everyone with no information. I have done some research. The FRanquelins are very connected to St Joseph Catholic Church in SLC and WEber university where they both have connections and Judy has done seminars for the women's study program there.

Hi, there are many of us in the same boat as you. I have tried many times to contact Armand and Judy as well and have been unsuccessful. I invested 25k to the Elva Group and have been left empty handed after being lied too from both of them. I am attaching Richards email with this comment, he has started a law suit against Armand and Martin Pool. There is not a day that goes by that I think about my money I have lost its brought me stress and anxiety to my life. Lets get the ball rolling and start getting attention in order to get some justice from these criminals and to stop them from doing it to others. Thank you for your story.
