I recieved this credit card a couple years ago after completing a program with Jefferson Capital. I initially liked the card and have had no problems with it. I have made continuous on time payments, staying below my credit limit and repairing my credit score along the way.
In late April 2012 the credit card processor was changed and everything went down hill as far as customer service. It has been a month now since the processor has changed, and not much improvement has been made. The new website does not list current activity, only balance available and balance due, current transactions are not posted immediately, so unless you keep your own spreadsheet on your activity, you don't know what you have available.
I am going on vacation next week and was planning to use my Emblem card. I called to ask if there were any unapplied transactions that I need to account for. The telephone rep put me on hold and said that information was not available and that I had to call back. I asked when I should call back, and the rep tried to end the call. I had to ask two more times before she told me I had to call back next week !!
Although, I liked this card and used it frequently, I will be paying off my small balance and not using it for a long while, until they get their stuff together with this new processor. Very disappointed!
