Every legitimate credit card issuer I have dealt with, has never asked me to enter my social security number to access my account. NEVER! Yet, I go to Emerge's website and the first thing I notice is that I need to enter my social security number to access my account, if I wish to set one up. SCAM ALERT! SCAM ALERT! The phone message says any online payments is complimentary for a limited time, as a holiday bonus. Take a closer look at the website and the site is void of any useful information. No phone numbers (other than the one listed on the statements), no corporate address, no non-automated main phone line listing, no company officers, nothing. This website is a joke and completely bush league which explains the level of customer service. Typical of this service is that it takes one month to place an account under review??! What? Come again? Capital One does this while you're on the phone. Same with Amex, Discover......This company and its affiliates are amateurs but pros at ripping us off.

DO NOT CREATE AN ACCOUNT OR PAY ONLINE! YOU WILL BE SCREWED YET AGAIN. DO NOT TRUST THIS WEBSITE!!!! DON'T BUY INTO THE HOLIDAY BONUS CRAP.

If this company is truly legit and knew how to have customer service, they wouldn't charge for online payments.

This an attempt by the company to get our info so they can zap our bank accounts if they decide to do so. Then they try to force you to pay online by giving such lousy customer service:
Asking for information they don't need.
Putting you on hold so you hang up.
Call them back and you get nothing. No one answers!
Dead Silence...
And no one can hardly speak fluent English!
