Emerge Mastercard Ripoff harassment and increase of interest without notification Atlanta Georgia

This account interest rate was increased to 29.99% without notification. There were no late payments at that time. I had 8 hospitalizations in past 10 months and got behind 1 month last May. They have receives more than the minimum payment monthly, and I have had repeated harrassment calls at work and at home several times a day. After I make a payment, I receive calls 2-3 days later. I have told them several times not to call me at work, and I receive constant calls at work.

I was told by a supervisor that if I made a certain amount of a payment, I would be placed in a 6 month interest free program, and the calls would stop. I made the payment, and the calls continued. The next month I was told I did not qualify for the program. I had made payments on all of my other accounts during the times I had financial difficulties and was offered
the ability to catch up these accounts.

Emerge tells me a different story every day, harrasses me and is charging huge amounts of service charges and interest every month. I have been given false information and the staff members are rude and accusing me of not wanting to pay on this account when I have made a payment monthly.
