My First Natinal Bank of Omaha credit card account was sold without my knowledge to Emerge Mastercard. I was curious as to why I stopped getting bills from FNBO and called them only to find out that they would no longer be servicing my account.
After I finally got through to Emerge they informed me that they had sent notification of the change, however I still have not gotten it. Also, I have not received a bill. I informed the 3rd world operator whom I could barely understand, and they said I should ask the post office why they are failing to deliver my mail!!!
I told them I only wanted to pay my bill on time, and I was told I could do so over the phone for a 15 dollar service charge! I asked them to waive this fee since it is impossible for me to pay a bill which I dot not have. They then informed me that they sent me a bill on March 18th, and it is now April 6th, so really I think I should have it by now. I do not.
I asked if they had an online bill payment site, to which I was told yes, and given a web site address that doesn't exist. Also, they won't even tell me what my new account number is!!! The operator told me....oh I should specify, the 2nd operator (the first one hung up on me!) told me that I should just send them a check with my old FNBO account number and they would figure it out!!! Sure...
