We had the wood laminate flooring installed on 10-6-2012 by Empire Flooring. The installers showed up later than the appointment.They were supposed to move the living room furniture and we had to do it for them. They started (2) of them and only were able to do part of the living room the first day because they claimed they had to be back at the office before 3:30 in the afternoon and since they didn't actually start laying flooring until around 11am there was not much done that day and they had informed us it would only take 1 maybe 2 days to do the entire job. Only one guy showed up the next day and late again and started around the same time as the day before. he finished the living room minus the moldings. He continued to the hall, he left here around 9:30pm. I thought we were going to have him all night. He also brought his circular saw into our house where we live and breathe (my husband has COPD) and did the cuts on the flooring. There was dust everywhere about a quarter inch deep all over the carpeting in the bedrooms and on the window sills, walls and ceiling fans. I had a mess to clean up. He showed up the thrid day at noon and did the bathrooms and the moldings in all the rooms and finished around 8:30pm again that night and said he would be here the next day to take away the trash that he was too tired to do it that night. He did finally come the next day but it was after 2 phone calls. The moldings are awful and there are nails bent over and showing everywhere. This is totally an unacceptable job and it cost us over $3000.00 to boot. Unacceptable, Totally.
