Empire Medical Training Owner: Dr. Stephen Consentino DO Ripped off money sent for training class Fort Lauderdale, Florida

We signed up for a class, sent $1200 and when we did not get any information about where the class was to be held, we called for the information.  The class was scheduled to be held in Las Vegas.  Lauren Arseneau, the office manager, told us that the class had been cancelled because the instructor was having a family problem. She stated it was being rescheduled in New York for the next month. We told her that this would not work for us(too far to travel, work scheduling conflicts), and per the company website, we wanted a refund of our money.

She was rude, abrupt and stated she would have to"check it out with her boss."  We waited a generous time and when no refund was forthcoming, filed a claim with our bank who investigated our claim and told us that Empire Medical Training said we were just NO SHOWS!  This is a blatant LIE on their part.  We have never been treated so unprofessionally by a company providing medical training. I would never have anything to do with these crooks again. Don't waste your time or money on these dishonest, unprofessional people.
