TOTAL RIPOFF. I signed up for the pain management course, which was supposed to be taught by a supposed expert. The instructor, Dr. Roman, claims to be Harvard-trained. He repeatedly brought this to our attention. In fact, he was trained in Mexico. He is an internist...NOT a pain management specialist. He has no formal training in pain management. He has three actions against him by the Texas medical board. During class, he would just read the slides verbatim. During the "hands on" portion, he would have the ultrasound device rep and other students find the structures. It was a complete waste of time and money. They taught very few of the injections that were promised on the website. I wouldn't attend another class if it were free. They waste a lot of time trying to sell their marketing services and for paid product promos. I learned very little in an eight hour course. I wish I had known aboute Danne Miller courses beforehand. Many of my colleagues recommend their courses for pain management. For ultrasound, the sonosite company has excellent courses for a nominal fee.
