We've been in our home since July of 2011 and had the three bedrooms carpeting replaced. I liked that Empire had an eco friendly carpet and went ahead and upgraded the pad to make sure the carpet would last. However, within six to eight months the nap looks shoddy and upon contacting the company they said that we would have to have the carpeting professionally cleaned to adhere to the terms of the warranty. Now, the nap looks even worse and given how much we paid for the install we now think it would have been better to simply have the carpets professionally cleaned and told Empire to shove it. They now seem to want to speak with me again on Monday, but I am anticipating the same load of crap I got before. If you can't maintain a quality product, don't be in the business.

Empire Made Good on Replacement

With the exception of an older gentleman who seemed a bit shady (based on wanting to charge me to remove the flawed carpet yet left no notes to the effect on my account), everyone with Empire has been on the up and up and so far the new carpet looks good and even feels different under foot.
