Hired to work as a Sales Team Leader but never made it to that position. "Trained" out in field which consisted of driving 150-200 miles per day to what are very generously called an "appointments". These appointments set by a boiler room call center and quality of appointments are very poor. Many no shows once you drive the miles to get there. Sales technique is a high pressure one shot close. I was told 2 weeks to 3 months to hit their goal, then I would "come in" to finish my training.

At close of first month I was one deal shy of goal and was informed I had 1 day maybe 1 week (they couldn't tell me which or would not agree to a definite time frame) and also had to have more sales then I was originally informed of.

Their primary markets are single to small business and generally the bottom of the barrel. Those who don't make good decisions and will sign are their bread and butter.
They dangle decent money at you but your life span is short if at all. Also you must drink a h**l of a lot of Kool-Aid.

Maybe the credit card business is like this all over and if you don't have a conscience and don't mind feeding on the weak and poor this could be your career!
