I have been tanning, both UV beds & spray tanning, for about the last 10 years. I have NEVER had more issues with a tanning salon than I have with Endless Summer. The girls that work there are always rude and snotty, and they consistently lie about the products and services the salon provides just to get a sale. Its no wonder, though, considering how awful the owner, Audra, is.
My first issue occurred in February 2012 at the Longmont location. I wanted a spray tan for an upcoming photoshoot. I was advised the salon only provided Mystic spray tan services, and I told the sales girl I was apprehensive as I did not want an orange, uneven tan. She reassured me this would not be the outcome & that she personally preferred the Mystic over Versa as the color solution was much better with the Mystic. I trusted her advice & went ahead with the Mystic.The outcome was seriously horrendous. I was so orange (NOT bronzed) and there were noticeable areas of my untanned skin the machine had missed. The sales girl flat out LIED to me. Several months later I started frequenting the Loveland location to use their UV tanning beds. The morning after a session in one of their beds I woke up with horribly itchy and irritated eyes. I had a feeling it was pink eye and went to the doctor, whom confirmed my suspicions. The ONLY place I had gone the day before was Endless Summer and I had not been around any little kids or animals etc. I told the doctor this info and he suggested it was very likely I contracted pink eye from the tanning goggles provided by the salon were not cleaned well enough to get rid of any bacteria from a previous user. I went back to the salon the next day to let them know about my unfortunate experience. I told the sales girl that I was letting them know this so that they could take the necessary sanitary actions to ensure this situation doesn't happen to any other customers. I was very nice in my conversation & the sales girl was actually sympathetic. Audra happened to also be there and the girl told her what happened with me. Audra's response was "bummer." I told her I just didn't want it to happen to anyone else and she started questioning me about my experience and said it was impossible that I got pink eye from their goggles. She was VERY rude, short, and unprofessional. She could have cared less about me as a customer or my experience at her salon. I have had issues with the sales girls lying to me about the lotions they sell, the color outcome of the UV beds, and have been told I had to purchase a "package" that included multiple uses of the bed and could absolutely not purchase a single session.
Audra is a HORRIBLE and CONCEITED business owner that does not care about her customers. Obviously there is NO training provided to the staff as every girl working there doesn't have any clue how the UV or spray tanning process works with a person's skin. Their services are overpriced and you couldn't pay me enough money to ever go back to this salon. SAVE your money and go to any other salon in Loveland or Fort Collins! Audra does not deserve anyone's money to pay for her lifestyle especially since she does not care about the experience (or health) of her customers.
