There are a lot of GREAT companies out there who are honest enough to provide a CARFAX. Again, they do it BEFORE you pay them. Otherwise, what is the point? Verification aftwards? Yeah, right. There is NO POINT at that point.
You need to cancel your credit card payment for Fraud. Print out where they say they will provide the CARFAX on the website, and then point out that you didn't get said CARFAX - they LIED to you, committing fraud.
What you did is the equivalent to giving someone 500,000 for a property deed that is supposed to come with some type of title guarantee.
I pity you greatly sir. You have truly been had by one of the worst and most systematic thieving companies in the USA.
Scrap metal isn't expensive; they made a lot on you. Just out of curiosity, how many REAL quotes did you get and ignore for the transmission before hand because they had a reasonable price?
