In early January I rented a vehicle from Enterprise. 2 days into the rental the vehicle overheated and we immediately contacted Enterprise support. They towed the vehicle and arranged for us to receive a replacement. This took almost 4 hours when they said it would take 90 minutes. 1 month after we returned the 2nd vehicle they sent me a bill for $1100.00 stating that I needed to pay them for the repair. After diisputing this they sent a photo of the radiator and the invoicee from the dealership stating that it had "impact" damage. However the photo shows After several emails to their corporate office regarding this, I took an additional 2 hours of my time and wen tot the dealership and spoke to the service manager who confirmed that (a) they did not have the radiator in question for my mechanic to review and (b) that the leak was so small in could have been there for months. Enterprise has denied my dispute and is now threatenign me with turning this over to a collection agency. For any of you out there that have this same type of story to tell with facts to back it up please contact me.

I have spoke to a few attorneys that deal with auto rental claims and there is a good possibility of a class action suit if the complaints are far reaching. I can provide facts (documentation directly from Enterprise) that states that they do not check the mechanical condition of vehicles when they are returned as well as the entire email and mail correspondence surrounding this problem. For now I will see if we can get a temporary injunction against them to prevent them from doing anything that could impact my credit rating until they have a chance to pay the invoice I am sending them for the time I have spent on this fraudulent claim.
