I was given a rental vehicle by the insurance company of the person who hit my parked car. The initial customer service could have been better, the car I was getting was really dirty so I had to wait for it to be cleaned. I took the additional insurance, walked round the car with the agent, no damage seen. I took a picture of the car after picking it up, my family is in UK and I'll admit to being a little social media happy, put the picture on my Facebook.

Later that same day, after discussing with my wife, I went to a different location to have the insurance taken off, again, walked round with agent, no damage noted/seen. When I returned the car the agent walked round, seen no damage and gave me the deposit back on my card, however, when he walked across the lot to get a driver he 'happened' to look back at the car and seen a double crack on the lower bumper. I drove the car to and from work, had my manager from work with me when I first picked up the car. Had I hit anything or done any damage I'd have taken it to the body shop that had my car.

From 2 instances of hail and this parked accident I've given them around $14k of work so my relationship with them is very good. I refused to give them my $500 deductible, let them file the damage report but I have a time stamped picture where (if you zoom in) the damage can be seen but was not seen/noted by the 2nd agent. I am still waiting for a promised call back by the store manager, the first agent was off the day I took the car back and he was to talk to her the next day. I will not pay for damage that wasn't mine because of a flawed inspection process.

My issue has since been resolved by a claims manager, I was able to provide photograph evidence that supported my claim.
I still won't be using this company again, nothing was ever said to me about my 2 hour wait when I picked up the rental and this whole mess has left a very bitter taste in my mouth.
