Enterprise Rent a Car Co. Beware of False Damage Claim Scam Lake Forest, California

On Nov 15, 2012 I rented a car in Lake Forest due to my car breaking down. AAA had made the arrangements for the rental and the sales agent was nice. He was helping a couple of gentlemen rent cars ahead of me and showed us to our cars. My car was filthy inside and out. After being stranded on the fwy and towing I just wanted to go home. He said he would give me 10% off. We walked around the car and he said they weren't worried about existing scratches just if I came back with body damage. When I returned the car to Chino hills, Ca. 4 days later the girl that helped me took the keys and came back and said that the front bumper had been repaired with spray paint and that the spar tire was in the trunk but the tools were not. I told her I didn't know anything about it and she said don't worry about it I had paid for the extra insurance and they would file a claim with them. No wonder our insurance rates are so high! My 10% discount was not noted on the receipt so she told me that Lake Forest would give me a call to complete my paper work.

The next day I got a call from Lake Forest;. I was given the 10% discount but I told him that I was not happy with the insinuation that I stole and that I did a self repair on the car'. He said anything could have happened when it was in my care still insinuating that I did it;. its good I paid the extra 8;.99 a day for extra insurance;. I have never been treated like this before,. I will never do repeat business with them again?. I felt like I had been scammed.
