Several tolls were incurred on a trip from Davenport to Chicago. All the other tolls were promptly paid through the tollway
website, but this one was omitted. Enterprise is more interested in dinging me for money for some deeply-buried clause in the fine print of a rental form than they are in repeat business. Hence the customer disservice department handled it.

 In summary, to Enterprise, it is not worth an email to a customer "Hey you missed a toll." It is not worth a phone call. It is an excuse to charge ten times the toll amount.

To me, it is not worth renting again from Enterprise.

Thank you for contacting Enterprise Rent-A-Car.

I want to first start off by apologizing for the great disappointment our company has caused you in regards to your toll charges. I do see you were charged $1.80 for the toll fee and $17.00 for the Administration fee. I understand the administration fee is what causes you to be very disappointed with us, and I want to assure you it is never our intention to disappoint a valuable customer. However, the charges have been processed out of our Group 15 region which authorizes their own violation payments and refunds. I have noted on your citation the issue so it can be further review. I will advise that you contact the Illinois Tollway directly at 1-630-693-2930 to dispute charges. An agent will be able to address the issue accordingly for you.

Again, I am so sorry for inconvenience you have experienced over this matter. Please don't hesitate to let me know if there's anything else I can do for you. Thank you for contacting Enterprise.

$17 "fee" for missing a $1.80 toll payment. That's going to lose you a lot more than $17 when I get my next two-week rental from Avis.
