Entrepreneurs Across America MAJOR RIPOFF!!! FRAUD!!! THEY DON'T GRANT REFUNDS AND THEY DON'T SEND THE PRODUCT!!! Denton Texas

We are a single income family of 5. So money isn't a luxury for us. On February 5, 2005, a young boy by the name of Jeremy Maiorano came to my door. I had already had a young girl before him come to my door and I told him that. I said that she had told me that no one would bug me because she had already been there. He started with this story that she was from a different company so it didn't count, he could still talk to me. He obviously didn't get the point that I wasn't interested. Before I could say anything, he went into his whole "speech" about what a great opportunity he was getting from this "company" (if you could even call them a company!!!) and all the great things he would get.

I kept telling him we already had all the magazines we needed and just didn't have the budget for anymore. He just wouldn't take no for an answer. He then had the NERVE to start talking to my children through the screen door. Well, that did it... because the second you say ONE thing to my kids, they want to talk to you all day long!!! So now there is no way I can shut my door so I tell him "Fine!! Just give me the CHEAPEST thing you have!!". He shows me a magazine for kids. Tells me it's $12. I said "Fine, but I am all out of checks" (hoping this would end everything). He said that's no problem, we can use a credit card. So I get my card thinking I'll pay $12 just for this kid to get out of my face and to leave me the heck alone!!!!

Then this boy tells me he needs to use MY phone to call all this in. I'm starting to get quite suspicious, but I just want the ordeal over with so I can go on with my day. He calls in and then hands me the phone, saying they need my confirmation over the phone. So I get on and the lady asks me to confirm a payment of $48!!!! I look at the boy and say "EXCUSE ME?!?! You said $12!" He gives me some crap about a 3 year subscription and some fees which he NEVER mention prior to me being on the phone. I just say "Fine, whatever"... knowing perfectly well once he was gone, I was going to cancel it. I just wanted him gone!! So he finally gets his money out of me and leaves!

I take the slip and follow the directions for getting a refund. Well, I should of known from the young boy that this whole company is just a HUGE scam!!! They were kind enough to deduct the $48 from my account before the 3 days was even up, but wouldn't you know it, they never "received" my slip for a refund!!!! Wow!!! Isn't that just lucky for them!!! I don't know how many phone calls I've made to them over the past few months, always hearing "We haven't gotten to that lot of receipts... we'll call you tomorrow." Only to never receive a phone call. But now they're thing is "Well, if you can show us proof that you sent it, we'll refund you. But we don't have your refund receipt here so you will not get a refund."... well geez, I didn't know I needed to make physical copies of EVERYTHING I sent in to this BS company!!! They are the ONLY company I would of ever had to do that with. I've NEVER had this problem with any other company. It is now June 16th. I have no refund... and heck, I don't even have the stupid magazine I never wanted to begin with!!! So I'm out $48 with nothing to show for it!!!

So instead of them taking the high road, the EASY road and just giving me a refund of $48 (which, based on all these reports, I know they have MORE than enough money), they are going to DRAG this WHOLE thing out. I've already put in a complaint to the Better Business Bureau and to the Attorney General of Texas. And I am currently getting the paperwork together to take them to Small Claims Court. They picked the wrong person to scam this time!!! Everyone BEWARE!!! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!
