I have been working for the company for some time and found some indiscretions. Not only in the "healthcare plan" itself but the way they treat the employees. Originally we were hired on at 30,000 a yr base pay plus commissions. Now that sales are down they are deducting money for days that we are out sick, or if we don't meet a certain amount of leads. Most of us every two weeks are unable to cash our paychecks because the money is not there. Bank, saying insufficent funds and instead of the funds being there immedeately we have to go the check ace cash to get our pay cause they don't check. The Company itself bounces back and forth between 2 banks, bank of America and wells fargo..... This I do not understand unless they are trying to evade something...If you know what I mean. Then the issue of not meeting our base pay that we were promised because we don't meet their quota! We never signed anything that said they could do that. Though the company may have good intentions, I feel they have other motives. Many of us have been let go becuase we voice our opinions and respectfully ask if the company is going under.... They do not like us asking questions about the future of our jobs or the company thatwe work so hard for. I at times feel like we have been thrown into a perverse version of Farnhiet 451.

I have been working for Equal Health for years and love my job and love the people I work for. This report/complaint is unfounded and is obviously based on someone that is upset with the company and as always there are two sides to every story. This persons stated so many false things about how the company operates there is not enough time or space to go through them all. More than likely (this person who did not even state their name) was terminated for some valid reason. Equal Health has been in busines since 2002 and is still in business today helping individuals and families get affordable health insurance.
