I usually buy my clothes through the internet, I have been doing that for many years trying different companies and I have always had good experiences. When I don't like something I have bought those companies always include a form to either return the item for a different size/color or to get a refund of the money paid, sometimes they even pay for shipping the items back, that is how certain they are of the quality of their products.
A couple of weeks ago I found an ad on facebook from a company called Eric Dress, I looked into it and found out they had very pretty designs and styles. I ordered a lot of items from them, from blouses, dresses and skirts. I ordered the same size I always order from all the other sites I buy from.
It took a while to get my items and when I did receive them I noticed the package was coming from CHINA. When I opened the package I was very dissapointed with the quality, the fabric was all wrinkled and it looked like carton board, very cheap bad quality, I already was thinking about returning the package but I tried the clothes anyway just to find out that the size "L' they sent me was more like a size "S" in the US. Tight fitting plus bad quality. I am emphazising the fact I buy that size from other websites and I have never had any problems.
When I looked inside the package for the form to return the items, I didn't find anything so I sent an email to the company asking for the procedure to return the clothes. They replied saying that all sales were final and they were not accepting any returns. First of all, I was shocked to hear that as NO COMPANY I have ever dealt with has such a policy, it is clear this Eric Dress company has no idea how to do business and how to take care of the customer, they are clearly luring clients with beautiful pictures that are far from what they really sell, then they take advantage of the client by not allowing any returns.
I replied back saying that policy was unheard of, that I needed an address to send the clothes back and that I wanted my money back, their response had me perplex and in awe... they said that IF I WANTED MY MONEY BACK I COULD SELL THE CLOTHES TO MY FRIENDS OR FAMILY!!!! That they were not giving me my money back, Can you belive they actually did that????
They kept my money and stole from me, I don't need those cheap clothes but since they are in China and they refuse to provide me an address to sent the package back and they refuse to give me my money back I want everybody to know what happened to me so it doesn't happen to other people.
I told them I would let everybody know what a bunch of thieves they are and hopefully people would know and would not buy from them.
If I had known they were not located in the US I wouldn't have bought from them, but it is too late know.
ERIC DRESS you do not deserve to be in "business" ripping off pleople at large.
