It sounded like City Bank person has been thru this in regard to Essentials practices hundreds of times with others. We called essentials after hours and their automated system asked for our home number to identify us. After we entered our phone number it told us that our "membership" (???) is canceled and our account will be credited. Called Essentials next morning within business hours and guess what - they COULD NOT find any records of ours - neither by name nor by phone number nor by credit card #.
They suggested that we fax them a copy of our credit card statement at 402-661-2189 Attn: Customer Relations so they can identify charges to our account. City Bank agreed to fax it on our behalf but we have to wait for a week or so before we can contact Essentials again. This has earmarks of FRAUD all over it and City Bank should be ashamed of themselves.
