Everest College in Dallas, TX
Mockingbird Dallas, Texas USA

Everest College in Dallas, TX I graduated in 2005. When I attended Everest I was told the I wouldhave job security after graduating and that my credits would transfer. I tryed going back to school and was told that my credit would not transfer. I deiced to go back to school this year and there I meet an ex-employee who told me that Everest College lie to students and that is why this person left. This person I also informed me to lookup this lawsuit and hopefully they can help me. I am in a $27000.00 debt to Everest at this time. At this time since none of my credits were able to transfer I will have to retake all my core classes eventhough I already have an Associates Applied Science degree which is the same degree I am know retaking. Thank you for anyhelpyou can provide. Dallas Texas

Everest is a Fraud

AUTHOR: Kreece38 - ()

The comments that you have made, in regards to this persons original comment are ludacris. If you haven't had a personal experience with this school then you probably should not comment. I personally have dealt with this school and I am also trying to join in the lawsuits pending against them. As for the Original poster if you would like I would suggest contacting an attorney locally to discuss your option, I have contacted Allen Stewart in Dallas, TX. If you would also like to contact him it might be beneficial to us both, so that it shows more then one person here in the Dallas area has had an issue with this school. They took me $20,000 over my government cap, and now I am in debt up to my eyeballs. If you interested I would suggest going to http://www.allenstewart.com/ to contact the attorney's there. Ask for J. Jackson.

Hope everything gets better!

First, I never said I wasn't paying for my loans.  I am paying for them.  If you learn to read you will also read that somebody that worked at Everest informed me of lawsuits for lieing to people, about credits and jobs.  Therefore thank you. Somebody was trying to just help me and see if maybe I could add myself to the list of other people suing Everest. As far as my writting and education goes, I am sorry, but I don't live on the internet to always be typing I'd rather write a letter and mail it.  Have a great holiday.

No one can force an edcuation on you

I read your report a couple of times because you said that you actually have a college degree. I find it difficult to believe that you were able to graduate even high school with the quality of writing you show in this report.

As an adult you need to take responsibility for your own actions. Part of that responsiblity is taking the time to actually learn English grammer and spelling and the content of the courses you choose to take in school. You didn't bother to learn, as evidenced by your report.

You borrowed $27,000 and now you want to blame the school because you have to retake certain core courses? If you are not proficient in your studies, than you need to retake the courses. If you take the course again, pay for it again. It is not the school's fault that you did not learn the material.

It's not the school's fault that you had to borrow the funds to take the class. It is up to you to either get serious with your studies or choose to do something else with your life. In any event, you borrowed the money and you need to repay the funds.

Learn from this complaint you have made: if you have no plans to actually pay attention in college, then don't borrow the funds to take the classes. You will be deep in debt and still not have the education to get the job for which you are training.
