Promises, promises, promise, nothing delivered, no refund. Here's how thw scam works. They call you repeatedly telling you they have jobs in your area right now and if they dont get a contractor to handle them, they will lose them. They guarantee you 15 times your investment in SOLD WORK, not leads if you sign up with them. Sadly, I did, for the tune on 500 a year. They delivered NOTHING, No leads, no work, no nothing, especially NO REFUND.
I did some research on them being totally peeved and found out that the owner, David Johnson, did 5 years in prison, club fed, for telemarketting scams in the early 90's. What a coincidence, he out to do more, guess it wasnt enough time. Now he hires people to scam you and sits back taking in the money while others, yes others, get arrested repeatedly.
I now have a guy I know that actually just got hired by them and is keeping a log of everything that goes on. He's a paid informant who is doing this to get himself out of unrelated trouble. This compnay ought to be running out of time here real soon.
Hopefully this will keep others away and noone else will get ripped of anymore.

Updated now for 2008. Still no money returned. Apparantly they are now using the old "you didnt fulfill your end of the deal" scam by not checking in with them every single day. I filed a small claims court against them and they didnt even show up. I was awarded 1500 by default and now with 4 days left, they have appealed it to State court. Hearing is scgheduled for August 12th. I will keep you updated when I win this round too. In the meantime, please DO NOT US EVERYCONTRACTOR.COM

False Accusations

In response to the above complaint, I would like to start by saying that after an exahusted search for Seaverns Roofing Inc. in our data base we have been unable to find them listed. We are not doubting that they may be a customer, however, considering the individual who posted this did not include their name, our search was limited to the name of the company.
I have personally known Mr. David Johnson for aproximately 19 years and considering he graduated from High School in the early 90's, Im not quite sure where this consumer is getting their information. Mr. Johnson is a happily married, church going family man with 4 beautiful children. To hear someone claim that he "cursed at them and hung up the phone on them" is completely perposterous.
Mr. Johnson is dedicated to the success and satisfaction of each and every contractor that uses our service. Of the, over, 40,000 paying customers all over the world, we have 109 complaints with the BBB in which 0 are unresolved. This is is a PHENOMINAL success rate by any standard. We have well over 100 employees, 13,000 square feet of office space and growing, FAR from being a "boiler room."
We welcome any of our customers to come by for a tour of our coorporate offices. All of our services carry a money back guarantee assuming that the customer follow the terms and conditions of their purchase. If we weren't confident in our ability to provide a stellar product, we would not provide an offer such as this
