Immediately after ordering emails were sent to me from them demanding I send copies of my ID, proof of address (utility bill etc) and copies of both sides of my credit card, or the order would be canceled. I called them immediately and they told me those were generated from my end, even though the email was clearly sent from their email address (email@example.com) I asked that they go ahead and cancel the order and refund my money. They said they couldnt do that because it was already sent out. (This was day 3 and their website said Ships in 2-5 days) so I figured it was on its way.
I had to call numerous times because the website said my order was still being processed for the frist week and a half after my purchase (even though I had been told they couldnt refund my money because it had already been sent out) I demanded that they call their warehouse (which I was told was in the same building) and find out the status of my order. He said he couldnt do that, there was no way for him to contact their warehouse. (???!!!)
I got the run around everytime I called them and was even hung up on.
Finally, 19 days later, our shipment arrived. The return address label said California. (I live in Wa) Nothing takes 19 days to get from California to Washington. (Mind you I paid $9.95 in shipping also, which would be normal coming from Ca)
This stuff is garbage. Cheap, slow, doesnt have what they say it has, does not connect to Google Apps Market, does not connect to my wireless account, even though in settings I made sure it was hooked up and it said it was. Touch screen only works half the time. Garbage. I also paid extra for a memory card which was not included.
I immediately demanded a refund and was treated very rudely and again, hung up on. I finally emailed them and let them know in print I wanted a refund, they told me to go through paypal for that, as if it wouldnt do me any good.
I filed through paypal. Paypal informs me that this seller has requested my items be returned to HONG KONG in order to get a refund and must have online tracking. USPS informs me there is NO WAY to track international packages online once they leave the USA. This company knows this and possibly the loophole through which they will steal my money ($300) and get their shoddy product back to resell to another unsuspecting customer.
I am very interested in class action, please contact me if you are also. I will be contacting authorities in Florida and I have filed a BBB complaint in all 3 business names. (the only one showing up in BBB is hidden camer a pen in Florida.
DO NOT BUY THEIR PRODUCTS. Amazon has customer discussions (I wish I had seen before ordering) that warn against this seller also. Please do yourself a favor and avoid them.
My claim is pending with paypal, but since I wasnt able to provide online tracking Im not hopeful of getting my refund. I will however not stop there. Im going to contact media in Florida also.
They ripped off the wrong customer!
