They sent me an email that stated they were casting for a Music Video with a famous rapper. It also said that the job paid $200. I showed up to the casting and they selected me and about 12 others and told us that we could show up for a shoot that night but there's no guarantee we would get paid unless we were picked to be a headliner. They told us to leave and they would give us a call by 10. At around 11pm someone from Explore Talent called me and told me to come to the shoot. I explained to him that I don't work for free and he assured me that I would be paid $200 plus the exposure of being in a video with such a big star. I go to the studio and all the rappers were drinking along with the other models. They kept trying to get me to drink too but I don't drink. It seemed very unprofessional to me. I was nervous but they kept assuring us that they would be shooting the video soon. At around 3 am we finally started shooting (Just one simple looking camera) because many of the models started to get ready to leave. I was pulled to the front of the girls over and over by the camera man. Many times I was right next to the main rap star. When we finished I approached the man from Explore Talent and asked to be paid. He acted surprised and said no nobody is getting paid. We told all of you that you had a choice to show up or not. When I explained that his friend had told me on the phone that I would be paid he accused me of lying and said that can't be true. I became very upset and told him to ask his friend what he told me. I said I was going to cancel my membership and tell everyone I know about this. He told me that he would ask his friend about it and then get back to me by phone. He said if his friend had said that that he would pay me. He called me the next day and said that I should be grateful just to be in the video and that I was forcing my way to the front the whole time. This was too much. I never forced my way to the front of anything. I had a camera man tell me where he wanted me at all times. He told me that only a few girls got paid $100 dollars each which I thought was weird since the email had said $200. I had also had one of the rappers offer me more money if I dance on a pole that was set up in the room. I had to explain to him that I'm not a stripper but a professional.
After listening to his bullshit for about 20 minutes I realized that he would never pay me so I gave up and got off the phone with him. Then I went on the internet and saw these reviews. I paid Explore Talent 200 dollars for a pro membership one year ago when they called me and told me that a director had expressed interest in me for a Victoria Secret Fashion Show in Miami. What a scam. They are liars. Do not join this site.
P.S. I am sure that they will get on here and respond with more lies just like they did to the other review. Can't wait
