The company spouts that they have helped thousands of Oklahomans get back on their feet and in the drivers seat. They run commercials and infomercials touting that they can get anyone approved for auto financing no matter your credit score! This is true, it is very easy to get a car through Express Credit Auto despite having bad credit, or little money upfront money to put down. With these sort of companies one would expect a higher than average interest rate, as one should with companies who are willing to give you a loan with bad credit. The higher interest is what you pay when you were wreckless with your past credit, that is just the facts. However, while you know in advance that you will pay a higher interest rate, even expect it, you do not expect the company who is extending credit to you for a vehicle to make it so difficult to pay them a payment. Nor do you expect them to use their ability and payment methods to further milk you out of more money, as though paying 18% to 21% interest isn't already lining their pockets enough. 

At Express Credit Auto they tell you how easy it is to pay your payment, but it isn't. If you choose to pay through their website it costs $4.99 additional (as you have to purchase an online moneygram to make a payment). If you choose to make a payment with your credit or debit card over the phone, that will cost you $10 (per payment). Think because of your busy schedule that you will just mail them a check (cost .44 cents)...well, don't bother, they do not take personal checks. You will have to find some means to get around your busy schedule to drive down there to pay it with cash and in person if you want to get around paying exorbitant extra fees in order to make a payment. Running late getting there to make your payment...call ahead and ask them to stay just 5 extra minutes as you are coming from out of town and nearly there, that won't work...they refuse to stay late, even one minute, to accept your payment. Oh, here is the kicker, if you do not make your payment on time, they have an ignition system that they can lock...thus you cannot start your car! Stuck at work...too bad. Stuck in a blizzard...to bad. There are no excuses as to why you haven't made a payment to them even though they make it difficult to make a payment.

It is almost as though they try to make paying them difficult so that they can get your car back and resell it again, or if you do pay, they charge more fees just to have a little more kick back money to line their already heavy pockets. 

There are other companies who will help you establish or reestablish your credit. Companies that make it easier to make payments, and who are willing to work with you so that you can make the payment in a timely manner. Try them and only bother with Express Credit Auto as a last resort...because, they truly are a last resort, and one you will regret having taken!
