Express Employment Agency Promised reimbursement of expenses Knoxville, Tennessee

I was contacted by this agency and told that my resume would be reviewed by a potential employer. The employer responded within 3-4 weeks that I was a candidate. The agency said that any expenses I incurred were going to be paid back, even if I did not take the job.

The time between the first contact with them and being promised the job was 2.5 months. I was not working at the time. I paid for a visa for Saudi Arabia, physician exam, courier services, etc.

The job took so long to hire me and I needed to work. I was contacted by another company and accepted that position after I told Express that I needed to work and would be interviewing. I was to work within 1.5 weeks with the new company. I have contacted the Express Employment Agency to get reimbursed for my expenses and still have not received a dime. I spoke to Kara Pinkerton and she said, "Oh, you should have gotten that in the mail, it was sent out to you". Kara is the recruiter or the office there and may own the agency. I asked her to send the check to me again, I still haven't gotten it. Her promise was a verbal contract and I can't help it that it was moving on 2 months for them to hire me.

To me, this is not a honest establishment.
