Unfortunately, I found this website and all these reports about Extended Lengths (EL) **after** I placed my order.....my order that has never arrived.
I placed an order, received a USPS tracking number, and the tracking info never appeared on the USPS website....only that the shipping info had been received by USPS. After many emails, I told EL in an email that it was obvious that I wasn't getting the shipment. I just assumed that it was lost or stolen in transit. After many emails back and forth, EL said they would ship out a new order, which also never arrived.
One thing that I found VERY suspicious about them.... When I asked various questions in my emails to them, they never answered them. For example, they said that they were going to contact USPS customer service about the first shipment that I never received. I subsequently asked them what they found out from USPS customer service, but they never answered me. I also asked them for a tracking number for the second shipment, but they never gave me one.
PEOPLE!!!! Here is how to get your money back that EL ripped off from you:
Call your credit card company or the bank that issued your credit card!! I did that today, and I was refunded the money I paid to EL.....the bank that issued my credit card refunded it to me. I dealt with the department at the bank that handles credit card scams. Now the bank that issued my card will go after EL to get the money back. The man I spoke to at the bank told me that they "WILL get the money back" from EL. In fact, he told me that it costs the merchant MORE money (more than what I paid for my merchandise) to resolve the claim because this type of claim causes them to pay extra charges.
DON'T let Extended Lengths steal your money!! Call your credit card company or bank that issued your card and get the money back that you paid to Extended Lengths!!!!
And then NEVER buy from this company again. I certainly won't!!!!!
