So, he told us to set up an account through Extra Freight Company. After sending him half the money as he requested, he also mentioned he would ship it anywhere in the US for free, he then stopped all contact with us. The money was removed from the account, and the trailer was supposed to delievered approx. 3 days later and never showed up.
After consistently sending e-mails and demands on the trailer with no response...we have filed a complaint with the police.
Sadly, all the money is gone and will probably never be returned. I'm not even sure what this person's real name is or where they live. It is 100% unknown.
I recommend only buying a trailer from somebody in person and picking it up yourself. Now I plan to do what someone else is doing, e-mail people selling trailers and make a joke out of them to see if their scammers.
